There are 3 components to the rental of Appleford: you have the use of the inside of the estate, use of the tented terrace, and access to the gardens. Your wedding can take place both inside and outside of the house, with the seating for your reception taking place under the tented terrace overlooking the gardens. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, roses garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. A pond, small waterfall, and landscaped entrance in front of the home is the ideal setting for your onsite ceremony. Appleford works with 8 exclusive caterers and is BYOB. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours when for the festivities from 6 to 11pm with a max capacity of 175 (some restrictions apply at the max guest count). Mr. Renner made the decision to keep the original industrial scale for weighing wool, which you can still see inside our front foyer. Our first batch of Manayunk Brewing Company beer was tapped on October 17, 1996. Since then, we have brewed more than 600 different varieties of beers, and have been selling these sought-after styles all around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Our brewers continue to explore new takes on classic styles, especially when it comes to sour ales and India Pale Ales. You will no doubt see our delivery truck bringing goods to happy customers throughout the Philadelphia region! Mr. Renner’s daughter took over the building in 2004 and runs the restaurant and brewery along with her business partner Mike Rose. Since then, they have expanded the restaurant by installing a stone pizza oven and sushi bar, as well as a chic banquet space for weddings and meetings. We’ve also begun to offer kayak tours along the adjacent Schuylkill River during the warm months.

Step back in time and relax in this circa 1740 farmhouse and its 1792 Federal Barn, located within the community of Chesterbrook, situated on the fringe of Valley Forge National Historical Park in Chester County. We invite you to stroll through our three acres of landscaped grounds and experience this unique pastoral setting, perfect for both indoor and outdoor weddings and events. Duportail (Du-Por-tie’) House and The Federal Barn are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places and can accommodate gorgeous weddings and large special celebrations with up to 160 guests depending on usage and time of year.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Curtis Hall is surrounded by a 45-acre arboretum created by Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect for New York City’s Central Park. The “hall” is the original music ballroom of the 1893 Cyrus Curtis estate, "Lyndon". The capacity for dining and dancing is 200. Beyond the handsome wrought-iron entrance gates is a vintage setting of rolling hills, two ponds, an original pergola and 50 varieties of trees. Located in Wyncote, Cheltenham Township, Curtis Hall is just five miles from Center City Philadelphia.

Elkins Estate is a 42-acre architecturally rich estate conveniently located outside of Philadelphia, PA. It is currently hosting events in the Elstowe Manor and will soon be opening its next space, the Chelten House. We have 70 overnight accommodations for wedding guests.

The Highlands offers a unique setting for your special day. Only 17 miles north of downtown Philadelphia, on top of a hill sits The Highlands. This elegant, two-centuries-old Georgian style mansion is surrounded by 44 acres of rolling hills and beautifully landscaped gardens. Completed in 1796, the mansion features fifteen foot ceilings and bright spacious rooms in addition to a 2 acre formal garden and the ambiance of the surrounding estate.

The Willows sits high on a hill overlooking the breathtaking grounds of Willows Park Preserve in the heart of the Main Line in Villanova, PA. The venue offers an irresistible combination of quiet elegance and unsurpassed beauty. This historic mansion, a beautiful example of Spanish Revival style architecture, was built in 1910. The venue's capacity is 150 with outdoor dining in a white tent and exclusive use of the mansion and surrounding patios, courtyards, stone walls and landscaped grounds.

At the heart of the thriving early industrial community known as Rittenhouse Town, the first paper mill in America was built. It all began when, in 1687, papermaker William Rittenhouse followed other Quaker and Mennonite families emigrating to the newly formed neighborhood of Germantown (founded in 1683). William partnered with Philadelphia’s first printer, purchased a 20-acre plot of land along Paper Mill Run (a tributary of the Wissahickon Creek) and, with the help of his son Nicholas, built the first paper mill in British North America that otherwise could only be delivered from England. For the next 40 years, the Rittenhouse family were the only papermakers in America.

Portico is a storybook wedding venue located in a 55 acre arboretum in the historic Germantown neighborhood of Northwest Philadelphia. This magical locale is perfect for romantic celebrations. Built in 1894, this unique and elegant mansion in Devon, Pennsylvania, was home to several prominent Main Line families until it was renovated for public use in 2005. Generous rooms with multiple entryways provide easy traffic flow throughout the spacious wood-paneled interiors, verandas, and terraces. The venue can accommodate up to 135 guests and has ample convenient parking, just steps from the front entryway.
