The Ruins at Sassafras Museum is the home of the former Shaker Second Family on Mount Lebanon. (See our reviews on Google.) We call ourselves a boutique museum because unlike other Shaker Museums that replicate the past, we have interpreted the past and creatively restored each location on the property. The Wadsworth Mansion, a nineteenth-century Beaux Art style mansion, is the quintessential country estate. All your guests can travel to the top on our Ski Lift to get to the beautiful views of the property. For your reception, our Rustic Lodge including two stone fireplaces, barn door along with bistro lighting is able to accommodate up to 180 people for dinner and dancing.
