Akindale Farm is one of a kind. Situated on 310 picturesque acres on Quaker Hill in the center of the Hudson Valley, Akindale offers a backdrop of rolling hills, herds of stunning racehorses, incredible vistas, and a wealth of different locations on the property to suit your special event. Akindale is not a typical wedding venue; but it is an exceptional place for your wedding. Our core mission is to rescue and care for retired Thoroughbred racehorses and we have over 120 on site. We are working farm, not a manufactured showplace. Therein lies our natural beauty. We welcome all types of ceremonies, and respect individual creativity. As a nonprofit, we are able to fund our work with the horses through offering our spaces and as such, your location fee will be completely tax-deductible. Spanning nearly 50 acres, the gracious, spectacular estate is the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding. For your ceremony location, choose from the exquisite French Flower Garden, inspired by the gardens at Versailles, or the intimate Italian Garden, inspired by renaissance architecture. After your ceremony you can host cocktails on the expansive terrace overlooking The Mount’s meticulously manicured property and the mountains beyond. With a variety of locations available, the estate and gardens can accommodate weddings of varying sizes depending on your needs. We will provide ideas, but encourage you to make creative choices to individualize your reception.

A privately owned property & gardens, resides along the Hudson River in Garrison NY. An ideal place! We currently offer wedding rehearsal, welcome party and after party location. We can help design specific entertaining areas throughout the property matching you with vendors. —- We have available days! Although, we have plenty of requests.
