Weddings come with a full buffet that includes all our meats, sides, cornbread and slider buns, and our vegan jackfruit. We refill the buffet as needed, and pack up any leftovers. Plus, open bar! The historic Liriodendron mansion, built in 1898, was the summer residence of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the four founding physicians of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Sold to Harford County in the late 1970s, the mansion now operates as a historic, cultural, educational, and recreational facility, managed by the nonprofit Liriodendron Foundation, Inc. The Donaldson Brown Riverfront Event Center is a stately setting for an up-scale wedding experience whose tone is evident upon arrival. Located 200 feet atop Mount Ararat, the estate overlooks the Susquehanna River. The manor’s rooms feature original fixtures such as its spiral stairways, arched doorways, antique chandeliers, and subtle wall moldings for an effect of refined elegance. Nestled on 68 acres of rolling green hills, this 18th Century property offers warm hospitality. Belmont Manor is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply that are different from privately owned venues. The Park provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator.
