“BEST BAND EVER!!!! The whole experience was INCREDIBLE, not only was Trevor amazing to work with but also all my guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the band was. I’d book them every single time and have already sent their info to friends with weddings coming up. We got married at Saltwater Farm Vineyard with the ceremony and reception all in one place. Silver Arrow band did our ceremony sound, cocktail hour music, and reception and it all went PERFECTLY. For the ceremony, they played a Spotify playlist for our guests as they were seated for the 30 minutes before the ceremony, perfectly played the processional and recessional music (shout out Bridgeton for making quartet versions of Taylor Swift songs), and had the microphone and speaker set up for the ceremony. For the cocktail hour, I kept imagining a saxophone player (for no apparent reason) and Trevor let me know it’s usually just a keyboardist who plays during this time, which was absolutely fine, but they ended up adding a saxophone and keyboardist to make my vision come to life. We also had an MC who helped narrate the night. But I cannot highlight enough about how amazing the band was. My best friend who is a big fan of Broadway was in awe of the vocalists and my family literally started dancing on the tables because they were having so much fun listening to the band. It was a perfect blend of old school favorites and new songs. I strongly believe a band makes or breaks a wedding and Silver Arrow Band can absolutely make your wedding everything you want it to be and more. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. “T.L. Holloway was the perfect band for our June garden wedding. Steve, John, Peter, and Dylan are fantastic people, extraordinary musicians, and organized planners. These four showed off their versatility and stamina by playing throughout our whole wedding day — from ceremony music with custom renditions of some of our favorite folk songs, through the cocktail hour and dinner with smooth jazz and Sinatra, and closing out the night with faster jazz mixed with classic American and contemporary tunes to keep everyone dancing. They graciously provided sound equipment for our outdoor ceremony, and Steve artfully handled wedding party introductions during the reception as well as various announcements. Throughout the night we noticed them checking their sound from various locations — that attention to detail and care typified our experience, from our first planning call until their last song. They made everything easy for us, were extremely generous with their time during planning, and their renditions of songs we selected were beyond what we imagined was possible. Our guests (and us!) were simply enamored! As lovers of jazz and classic American tunes (but not necessarily dancing), these guys had us and our guests dancing all night. “It has been extremely difficult for us to put such a wonderful experience into words. Our experience began when stumbling upon a band, PopStyle, who we had never heard of before. After reaching out we were pleased to get a quick and genuine response back from Karl. From the first response the group clearly took our questions to heart and responded in a way which we felt comfortable that we had been heard, even after we had been forward about never hearing of them before. After deciding to go with them for the wedding night, we met in person to go over the night. Karl is a true professional and added some suggestion where we needed it and let us steer the ship as we wanted to. Ultimately we were happy and comfortable to put the night in his hands, they did not disappoint. As the wedding came around, it was clear that PopStyle knew how to perform. We received more compliments on the band throughout the night and on the impressive skill on just about every individual musician in the group. Which is something to say as more than a few of our guests have professional backgrounds in music. What struck us most was not only the raw talent and the ability to completely nail each song, but that the band itself had fun. You would never know they were not just a group of friends getting together to jam out. They danced, smiled, laughed, and even stepped into the crowd once or twice to have an epic horn or vocal solo back and forth. We will lastly say that one of our biggest complaints leaving weddings (DJ or Band) is when the musicians do not read the room and only play what they want, instead of play for the crowd. PopStyle knew how to direct the feeling of the night. Each song flowed from the last and set them up for the next set. They seemed to hit ever genre with expertise which gave something to everyone in the crowd. Our only reservations going into this was the lack of other reviews out there, given they are a newer band.
