“I absolutely cannot say enough amazing things about Granite Rose by Wedgewood Weddings! The team and all of the staff at Granite Rose are beyond expectations and go above and beyond to help in anyway they can from start to finish! From our first tour with Megan, to our planning meetings with Carly, Megan and Victoria, to the tastings with Julia and everyone else, it was flawless. We couldn’t have envisioned a better wedding night. Megan was there the minute we arrive ready to help and support us in anyway she could. The venue was absolutely beautiful and we are still getting praise from family and friends about our wedding. The food was so delicious and the buffet impressed every single one of our guests! Everyone had something that they liked and went back for more!! We also loved the cocktail hour and appetizers! The bartenders were also excellent at making delicious drinks and creating our signature cocktail! We created four signature cocktails for our wedding and they brought them to life and they were outstanding! Janet our banquet captain was so friendly, helpful and ensured that our night went so smoothly right up until the end!! Our night was a dream from start to finish and we could not have done it without the amazing team at Granite Rose! Flanagan Farm offers an unforgettable backdrop to host your event, whether it is an intimate gathering, an all out bash, or the wonderful options in between. Weddings at Flanagan Farm include use of the entire property, including overnight accommodations in the farmhouse for 10-12 guests from Thursday through Sunday. You are welcome to host your ceremony and reception on site, as well as rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and even a farewell brunch if you'd like. Additionally, Flanagan Farm is among the closest wedding venues to Portland, at just 25 minutes drive, so many couples love that they can combine the best of Portland (including hotels or rental homes for guests) with the natural beauty of an elevated outdoor setting for their wedding weekend.

“What a beautiful location for a wedding! The Haimes (who own the property) were so lovely to work with, they got back to us quickly with any questions we had and the woman Jean who was our on site contact could not have been more helpful and pleasant. The barn, grounds and attached house are the perfect spot for a wedding. Just be sure you understand that you need to rent everything for the space (ie: tables, chairs etc) so the cost can be quite high but it will be lovely!”

While keeping its past integrity, we renovated it into a modern venue fit for luxury events. The Barn sits on 25 acres and can accommodate up to 225-250 guests. We have a separate ceremony patio, a lawn ceremony option as well as a cocktail hour veranda. Ceremonies can take place on the patio, the grounds or under the trees or almost anywhere couples would like to on the property. We are an a la cart venue, which means we are a blank slate for you to create the wedding of your dreams. we offer ceremony benches a wooden arbor and a good amount of decor and lighting. There are TWO 5 bedroom houses on the property for rent. These houses are perfect for your wedding parties to stay at, and get ready at.

Our venue is a restaurant/brewery that is very open and airy. We have high ceilings and exposed wood beams. Our company was started by 3 Dads. They all live in Scarborough and have children in the Scarborough school system. 1 is the Brewer (Michael), 1 is the Builder (Tim) and one is the Executive Chef (Jeff). “Nonesuch River Brewing is a gem for a wedding venue! Their event team is top notch. Heather was our wedding coordinator, and she was phenomenal and so responsive. Her positivity, excitement, and attention to detail for our wedding showed through and she was an absolute joy to work with. I never thought wedding planning would be so easy until we met with Heather and the Nonesuch team. She made the entire planning process stress-free and fun! Heather and the event team made sure every detail was perfect for our wedding day. The venue itself is gorgeous. All the natural wood inside makes it so warm and welcoming. We immediately felt like we were home the second we toured the venue, and we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Every single Nonesuch team member we met with was so nice and treated us like a member of their family. Our entire day went off without a hitch. Our guests had a blast and raved about the food, the venue, and the special beer we brewed with the Nonesuch team for our wedding! Everyone was so impressed. Heather and the event staff went above and beyond for us, and our day was better than we could have ever imagined. We couldn’t recommend them enough!”
