My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Marcea and Natalie. We attempted to go without a day of coordinator and decided it best to bring one in. Although last minute, both Marcea and Natalie made our wedding such so seamless, leaving us to be able to enjoy the day! A couple of anecdotes: 1. My wife and I were taking pictures during most of the dinner portion of the evening. Once we returned, we had a small window to eat before the speeches and cake cutting. Marcea approached us and asked how we are doing. Assuming she was trying to speed us up, we asked "are we pressed for time? She responded in the most calm and wholesome "we are right on schedule, eat your food." I had checked the time and knew that this was not entirely true. Marcea in that moment made the executive decision to allow my wife and I to eat (something that is not always a guarantee at your own wedding) and be able to relish a small moment with each other. This was the ultimate testament to a wise day of coordinator. 2. My wife went through extensive floral planning for our wedding. Even electing to create a whole alter arrangement on her own. Upon placing the alter, Natalie and Marcea realized that there was not enough space for the whole arrangement. Instead of trying to rearrange the whole design, they elected to take some of the smaller arrangements and place them at the foot of the entry of our venue and underneath our welcome sign. We realized it after our ceremony and were absolutely delighted by their swift pivot. Just yet another example of their expertise. My wife and I could not have enjoyed our day if it weren't for these two. Really could not recommend them more!

You need a wedding coordinator, the return on your investment is 100 fold. Kayla and her team worked magic for us at our wedding. Not to mention, her pre-wedding process and checklists, those were incredibly helpful in making sure we considered all of the details that make up a wedding. I love planning parties for family and friends and the detail that goes into them but nothing can prepare you for the details of a wedding, but a wedding coordinator who really knows her stuff and always keeps her cool is 100% what you need for your special day. Saige, Hannah and Caiti did an excellent job as our wedding planning team, both helping us find and book all the vendors we needed for our event, but also bringing all of the logistics together on the day of our wedding. Our event was interrupted by bad weather (any couple’s worst wedding nightmare), and Saige’s team was able to pivot our entire event indoors flawlessly, while maintaining our vision of the ceremony. Moreover, Hannah made our day easy by keeping pressure off of us so we could enjoy the event, but also checking in to make sure everything was going the way we wanted. Saige also has a great inventory of rental items, and went even further to custom make some items to help deliver on our event décor and vision.

Mikayla is everything you want in a day-of coordinator and more. I chatted with a few coordinators but knew immediately once I talked to Mikayla that she was the one! She's one of those people that makes you feel comfortable and at ease instantly. I'm a total Type A and never once felt stressed on my wedding day. I never thought it was possible to for me to fully hand over a project to someone else, but she knocked it out of the park! There was inclement weather day-of, and she gave us until the last possible second to pivot to an indoor ceremony and then worked her booty off making sure everything was in place by our start time. I can't think of enough great things to say about Mikayla, she's an absolute gem.

We hired Krista and the team at Kita events to manage our wedding day with the Gold Key package - it was worth every penny! Krista was an absolute pleasure to work with. She’s knowledgeable, organized, and helpful. You can tell she’s seasoned, and it put me at ease. We had a couple situations that needed creative problem solving and she just took care of it, made the calls, and found a solution. She was available and responsive, her proactive communication was so appreciated. The lead-up planning was top-notch. Then her rehearsal and day-of management were even more fantastic. Krista has a warm, calm, and positive energy - exactly what a bride needs on her big weekend. She led the rehearsal so eloquently - our wedding party (who have been in many weddings) was super impressed. On the wedding day she was behind the scenes making everything flow, coordinating with all of the vendors - I didn’t have to lift a finger. The run-of-show was seamless, she was in lock-step with our venue manager, photographer, DJ, and various musicians. And to close, after a long day (we had a New Year’s Eve wedding so it went late!), she and her team broke down and aggregated our rentals, and packed up our personal decor (there was a lot). I cannot recommend Kita Events more, we had a wonderful experience.

She is beyond wise for her years and knows everything a bride could ask in hand already. Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. She handled getting the rings to the correct bridal party members and made sure to grab our vow books before the ceremony so we didn't have to remember them. I cannot recommend her services enough, not only can she officiate the most romantic ceremony ever She is also an incredible wedding coordinator and will make sure your wedding runs smoothly allowing you to have a stress free wedding day! I literally didn't have to handle a single thing on my wedding day because she was there to handle it all. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. Victoria and VEVENTS are exactly whom you need to hire if you are like us. For us, we had already done most of our wedding planning, but we needed someone to take over on the big day. We knew we'd be busy, and that we didn't want to burden our family. We decided to commit to hiring a day-of-coordinator, but we were on a budget. We found VEVENTS to be very reasonably priced, and what we got was way more than we were expecting. Victoria and the whole team were sharp and professional, going above and beyond our needs in every way to make sure that we were taken care of during our wedding. Victoria covered every detail and took several meetings leading up to event to sync up with us. She took over communication with our vendors and took everything off of our plate. She met with us when we had vendor showcases. She offered her own things to help accommodate our polaroid station. She even gave us a ride one day when we ended up stranded far from transit at a warehouse. You get someone by your side every step of the way. Beyond that, Victoria and the team are wonderfully kind and optimistic throughout the whole experience, keeping everything positive! We could not recommend Victoria and VEVENTS enough!

I started in the wedding industry when I found bridal world in 2018. Building a career in bridal brought me back to Los Angeles from Seattle, back to family and into a world where I could immerse myself in all things bridal and weddings. I worked my way up as a stylist to the couture level, managing one of the flagship stores in LA and specializing in custom, one of a kind designs as a stylist. I learned more and more about weddings, and one day started day-of coordinating for friends and family. That grew to a passion and led to the birth of Serenity Weddings.

Working with Desiree at Serenity Weddings is such a breeze! She's worked with us for a few of her clients, some shopping for gowns and others who are just looking for the perfect accessory to match their gowns. Her easy-going and empathetic attitude make her brides feel so comfortable, and her love for being sustainable is a great match for our consignment boutique. She has an eye for bridal style and is able to fine tune a look and imagine different possibilities to really make sure you feel your absolute best on your wedding day!
