Working with Erika and her wonderful staff at Foxwoods was an absolute pleasure and joy. I was surprised when a client hired my company MNE Events, and said their wedding was at Foxwoods. I didn't even know they did them there. I am so glad I got to be there, because it was a magical night. Everything ran smooth and the food was amazing. Having my wedding at the Newport Marriott exceeded my expectations from start to finish. You can't beat the scenic location, unmatched convenience of having accommodations under the same roof to the staff that went above and beyond with every request big or small. I can't express enough how at ease I felt leading up to my wedding working with Rachel who was my events coordinator. Throughout my entire planning process, I could always count on her for a prompt response with answers to any questions I had or resolutions to any new requests and concerns I'd throw her way. Being able to have full trust in Rachel was really the greatest gift I could ask for. She made the process so stress-free and it's worth mentioning she's super sweet and a joy to be around! When I think back on my wedding, I'll always remember how helpful she was and how much that positively impacted the entire experience. Every staff member I worked with was incredibly helpful and pleasant. My guests rang their praises after the big day too. The food and bar service was top notch. I used the house centerpieces that were gorgeous. I hadn't a single worry about everything coming together the way I planned and pictured all because of the staff here. The venue was amazing! I really wanted a nautical wedding but didn’t want the price tag of a Newport venue. Harbor lights was perfect the setting. Location, food, and coordination was superior, Tie and Bree were amazing leading up to the wedding and the day of, We couldn’t have asked for anything better. 100% recommend, everybody couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was, how good the food was, and how perfect everything went.

My husband and I got married at Crestwood April 2024 and from the moment I met the wedding coordinator Melany and toured Crestwood for the first time I knew I would be getting married there. The venue is beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were all friendly. (Plus my husband was happy to be getting married on a golf course) During the planning process Melany was available and very responsive when I had any questions. She was also open and honest about the wedding planning process and I always felt like I was just chatting with a friend through the year leading up to the wedding. On the day of the staff was very attentive to our needs in the bridal suite and were readily available with any questions or logistics I needed to sort out. I do not have one negative thing to say about my experience with Crestwood and if I could I would re-live the day again exactly how it was which was perfection! Thank you Crestwood for making our day a dream come true!

I've been a wedding photographer on the North Fork for 10+ years and since The Halyard came on the scene it has quickly proven itself as a top event venue. Not only is the location itself like none other, literally hugging the water's edge, the food is beyond outstanding and the staff is wonderfully professional. The recent renovation under new ownership was so well done, featuring modern and nautical decor while maintaining the charm of the North Fork. The Halyard is connected with The Soundview Hotel making it a truly ideal wedding location, allowing couple's to relax without having to shuffle around on the big day. And no matter what light is given, the closeness to the sea at The Halyard ensures beautiful photos always. It's a special place on The North Fork and hands down my favorite waterfront venue.

What can I say. The Fall River Country Club and Tammy hit it out of the park. I’m not a difficult person but I am a specific one. I don’t expect everyone to be like me, but the whole event and anyone associated with it came within 99% of my expectations. From the meetings, to being able to view it during other set ups, to her answering every question and making all requests and accommodations happen – her and the venue were just fantastic. If you want something all in one place without having to deal with so many different moving parts, then the FRCC and Tammy is the place for you. The venue had ample parking and the food was fantastic! Being organized is key. If you are organized the FRCC will 100% carry out your vision. The bridal sweet is huge, you can order restaurant service if you are going to be there a long time, she opens early if you need it that day … I’d go and look at it, if it checks your boxes, then make the rest of it happen. You will not be sorry. The views are just amazing, the spots for photography both inside and outside are beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and has a cute nook to put wedding baskets if you so choose. We had the wedding in Nov so I said please, in the common areas please feel free to leave your decor. Very tasteful and the staff, from cook, to bar, to wait staff - just phenomenal. Never sitting still. If you ask a question or needed something they came right back to you, not some half hour later. I can honestly say if planned properly your vision will be executed and your day will be a stress free one. They also had a smaller room upstairs that we reserved for the out of town guests / rehearsal dinner so they could drive to the location and get a lay of the land. We had a diff, more casual menu for that. It came out exactly how we planned.

Back in 2021, we came to view Lord Thompson Manor as our first wedding venue. Afterwards, we only went to one other venue, and decided that there were no more that we wanted to go see. Lord Thompson Manor was the one for us. We loved the uniqueness of Lord Thompson Manor, because we are not ballroom people! We are thrilled with our decision and wish we could relive the weekend over and over. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone within the Lord Thompson Manor staff was so accommodating and beyond caring and kind. The staff truly made us feel like we were family. It was so hard to leave on that Sunday! The attention to detail was immaculate and hasn't gone unnoticed. Many friends and family members have taken the time to reach out to us and our parents letting us know how Lord Thompson Manor was the most beautiful venue and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We knew from the start that to ensure the most important day of our lives went off without a hitch there was no one but CT Wedding Group we trusted. Saint Clements Castle provided a beautiful venue and kind staff for our wedding day. We especially appreciated our sales coordinator, Alyssa, who was professional, fast, and clear in her communication throughout the planning process. When rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors, the team quickly adapted the art gallery for us. The servers and bridal attendants were also attentive and went above and beyond to help finish set up when our florist left early. Our guests had incredibly kind things to say about the servers, and overall we had a great experience. It was also lovely to have a place that was a one stop shop for event planning! We did lose some decor in the shuffle which was an inconvenience, and some of the instructions for set up I left were not followed (our confetti got lost, only four guests got packets, the bridal suites did not have the supplies we left for them). My husband’s family were also really upset with one of the managers on property who wouldn’t allow them to walk in a covered area and was a bit rude about it, despite an event not happening and the rain being a torrential downpour causing unsafe conditions for his elderly family to walk in. Overall we had a great experience, and would recommend the castle to anyone planning a wedding!

Our daughter’s wedding reception was held at GrandView in April 2024. Our choice of this venue was one of the best decisions that we ever made! The food was wonderful – I received comments from guests that the food was hot when it arrived at their table. It was a “wow” moment when they opened the doors to the dining room – the room was stunning. Our guests were so impressed by the ladies room that they took pictures in there – I’ll leave it to you to visit the venue to find out why. Another popular place for our guests to take pictures was in front of the champagne wall. Erin, our coordinator, ensured that the event went flawlessly – she was such a pleasure to work with! GrandView staff even packed up our car for us at the end of the night. You will know exactly how much the event will cost you when you sign the contract because the wedding cake, provided by an Italian bakery, and the open bar are included in the price provided. To quote many of our guests, the reception was “phenomenal”.
