“Melissa and Casey and the rest of the team at RSVP were wonderful to work with! We ended up needing a few tastings because my husband and I have certain dietary preferences and RSVP went above and beyond to accomodate those while also making us feel like we had options that were well thought through and delicious! We eat mostly plant based and while most caterers had made us feel like this was difficult and they could not accomodate this, RSVP offered us numerous options and the capability to modify anything we wanted. It was such a wonderful experience and the food turned out incredible! We also had a few signature drinks and Melissa gave us excellent feedback and helped us really understand what amount of alcohol and other items we should be providing so that their bartenders could give our guests the best experience possible. All of the drinks were absolutely delicious and excecuted perfectly! We had so many fun details like late night french fries with vegan aoili and espresso maritinis and our guests raved about this!! Casey started off as our point of contact and she was fabulous but had to step back for personal reasons and Melissa stepped up and did a fabulous job executing everything that Casey and I had discussed! It was a seemless transition and Casey and Melissa's professionalism is certainly to be admired on a team. I also want to mention the staff at RSVP, the waitstaff and bartenders were lead by a Lead Server that also was at our tasting and he executed our vision beautifully. He knew our dietary needs and ensured we had ample food options on our table at all times while making sure that we weren't given things we couldn't eat on accident. The staff were incredibly kind, hard working, and professional. I highly recommend RSVP for both their excellent teammembers and their delicious plant based and non-plant based food options!”

“Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!”

I had done a makeup and hair trial with someone else before Sarah and I hated my makeup so much and I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to find someone who would make me look amazing, but really subtle. I booked a trial with Sarah and the magic she worked was just incredible. I had airbrush makeup done which I loved as someone who really doesn’t like feeling makeup on my skin. I am sooooo picky about my hair and makeup and Sarah was so flexible and never got offended when I wanted to make tiny adjustments, or bring my own lipstick to use on the day of! She also was so attentive and helpful in the months leading up to my wedding as I tried to narrow down my vision. The masterpiece that Sarah created with my hair was stunning. I think just about every single guest (and everyone I’ve shown photos to) complimented my hair. She brought my dream look into a reality, and I have never felt so beautiful!! Also Sarah really went above and beyond in the getting-ready room with me lol, helping me put on my shoes and getting my train straightened out before my first-look. She also was such a good person to have by my side during that time - when we had a moment alone, she asked me if my mom or anyone stressed me out or anything so that she could get a heads-up on any hiccups we might face. It was so comforting to me that she was thinking about things like that! I really felt like she was in my corner that whole morning/early afternoon. I definitely spent more than I originally planned on hair & makeup, but honestly Sarah is worth everyyyyy penny. I didn’t have to touch up my hair or makeup the entire night, and it felt so good that I had 100% trust in Sarah after my trials. Also another note - we had a really small wedding, so we didn’t have bridesmaids or groomsmen - it was surprisingly hard to find makeup artists who were willing to travel for just the bride’s hair and makeup. I am super thankful that Sarah was willing to do so! Trust me, you will not regret booking with her!! I trust her with my life at this point!!”

“Bianca is incredibly talented and just the best! She did the makeup for my May 2024 Indian fusion wedding (both for my wedding day and my Sangeet), and I could not have felt more beautiful. Something that was incredibly important to me when deciding on a MUA was finding an artist that is well experienced with a variety of skin tones. Bianca absolutely killed it while doing a variety of different looks. Leading up to my wedding, I went to Bianca for a few facials. The actual experience of the facial was so relaxing, and my skin was so hydrated and glowing leading up to my wedding. After my wedding, I also asked Bianca if she could do a makeup class for me. She had made me feel truly so beautiful (but still like myself). The class made makeup approachable for someone who has very limited makeup experience. “As soon as we took a tour of the Atrium, we knew this was the perfect spot to get married. The gardens are beautiful, and the inside the building the glass walls, plants, and little river give an airy and natural feel. I didn't worry about rain because you feel like you're outside even when you're in. When guests got too hot on the dance floor, they could go out and socialize on the patio overlooking the gardens in the cool night air. Given the meal prices for comparable venues, this venue is GREAT VALUE!! The food was great and the guests were happy. There were a couple small things that might be helpful to share, though. Our point of contact changed several times in the span of our engagement and there was sometimes a delay in communication. Also, the venue was marketed as a capacity of 200 people but it is better suited to weddings of 160-180 guests. When you go over 180, you have to choose some guests to seat in a room that feels divided by the little stream which is awkward. Also, there is no space for getting ready so brides and bridesmaids have to get ready off-site. Overall, I was overjoyed with having my wedding day here and I think for the price we still had an incredible experience. I don't regret it at all!!”
