As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. The Event barn has a gorgeous deck overlooking the property for your ceremony or event extra dance and seating. We also have a stunning lakeside area, and a garden gazebo. That package comes with any outdoor ceremony site, and also a secluded cottage. Activities include recreation room with pool tables and large flat screen televisions, lake for fishing and/or swimming, and trails for hiking and biking.
