About this venue

Ceremonies are exquisite rain or shine on the covered lawn, accented by a rustic stone water feature & sparkling chandeliers. You can add an arch or arbor if you wish, which beautifully frames the lush, colorful landscaping surrounding the space. Then, sneak away for a private toast and dreamy photo ops in the "secret" Wishing Well garden. A unique outdoor bar among the vines, built into the stone wall of the vineyard, is a favorite spot for cocktail hour, or transformed into an icecream or coffee bar. Inside, draping & twinkle lights add a romantic ambiance to the reception room, with an attached covered patio serving as an al fresco dance floor. The secret garden is another magical space for photo ops Your rental includes the use of Magnolia Terrace’s fully-restored vintage home, where you’ll find 2 dressing rooms with private restrooms, a large prep kitchen, indoor bar/buffet area & extra guest bathrooms. Located in charming downtown Frisco with many hotels less than 5 miles away.

  • Beautiful Space With an EXCELLENT Coordinator!

    We loved Magnolia Terrace from the moment we saw it! (In fact, before stumbling upon this hidden gem, we were set on going to the Dallas County Courthouse!) The lush greenery, romantic lighting, and airy greenhouse space helped curate the exact vibes we didn’t even know we were looking for! While small, the space is perfectly laid out and utilized. We also appreciated that we were able to pick and choose from the venue’s beautiful decor options. (The venue’s decor and linen options saved us literally thousands in the long run.) However, the BEST thing about this venue is its wonderful coordinator, Betsy Clark. Our experience would not have been as special, memorable, and remarkable without Betsy’s calming presence and personal touches. I’m certain that Betsy has seen it all in her career, yet she made us feel like our wedding was THE most important thing in her orbit. (Which is laughable, considering she effortlessly manages multiple events a week!) Nothing felt impossible with Betsy at our side. She answered my many, many questions and calmed my nerves and concerns. She was always game for my “what if” round of anxious questioning. If it was within her power and purview, it was handled. Betsy also helped us navigate a few changes with the venue prior to our wedding. (The venue had undergone an ownership change in the months before our event.) Betsy was fair, honest, clear, and helpful in her communication. She made sure we were well taken care of throughout our time with her. Betsy gave the best gift a couple could ever hope for: Peace of mind. Magnolia Terrace feels like an other-worldly gem that you’d never expect to find in a Dallas suburb. We’re glad we did!

    My husband and I fell in love with this place when we first saw it and the pricing is great for everything they include! We didn’t to bring too much decor because the venue itself is already gorgeous and they already have some decor for use! The bar was awesome, didn’t need to worry about it and the pricing was also very good. Becky was great at helping everything move along on the day of. Overall, highly recommend this venue. Our wedding was beautiful and had that intimate feel we were wanting.

    Honestly, I fell in love with the twinkle light installation and was overjoyed with everything else! Overall, I loved working with Corrine and Betsy. Betsy was so detailed and easy to work with, always communicated clearly, and was super helpful on the day of the wedding. The Best Coordinator award should go to her! The venue was beautiful and was comfortable enough for all the guests and allowed enough room for people to move around. The venue offers so many options for table decore and outside decore that is super helpful for the planning part for the day of and made things easier on that end and smooth for prep and take down.
