My name is Jillian and I'm a photographer and artist in Kansas City My goal is to capture you. Every couple, family, person is different, and I want to make sure your uniqueness comes through in the images of your special days. My style tends to lean into rich colors and textures. Are you a couple that doesn't want to have a typical wedding? I'm a photographer that doesn't want to give you typical images! I always tear up at hand written vows. I love my partner and my two dogs Moonshine and Chosen One, and my cat Bucket.

Jillian at Youngbird Photo (j.guthrie_photo on Instagram) is such a true joy and delight to work with. Not only did she come to photograph our small May ceremony, but she photographed a first look photo session with us after we canceled the reception!! My dress was in covid lockup in May, so I wasn't able to wear it at the original ceremony. Jillian made sure that we had pictures of the dress, and captured a first look moment for us, and that will forever mean the world to me. She even came over to photograph the centerpieces that we had worked so hard on!! She makes people feel so comfortable and has such an amazing eye for what will make a beautiful shot. She is immensely talented and an absolutely delightful person. And bonus, she works with any budget. She truly believes that every couple deserves beautiful photos, and will work with you, whatever your situation is. Case in point, she's done our engagement photos, our small ceremony photos, and now our first look photos, and in every instance, she went above and beyond for us. I will recommend her forever, and still cannot completely put into words how much she and her photos mean to us!

I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Awarded Best of Zola
If I could give Grace and her assistant 10 stars I would! Our wedding was very low key with no day of coordinator, etc. Grace and her assistant helped my husband and I navigate the day. We were also very nervous about having photos taken and she did a wonderful job at putting us at ease and helping us with poses. Our wedding photos turned out amazing and we get so many compliments on them! I highly recommend Grace for your wedding!

I started my business back in 2017 in Minnesota. In the last 5 years I’ve photographed over 50 weddings. I specialize in Weddings, Elopements & Engagements. I’m an organized & detailed photographer that loves to capture raw emotion, details, & joy.

Awarded Best of Zola
Sara did a phenomenal job for our engagement photos and wedding. She was so nice but also assertive for group photos which our group needed! She came very prepared and brought along items like a stain stick and a bride hanger to be prepared for anything that could’ve happened to ruin the look. She was flexible with us when we decided to tweak our timeline a little bit during our wedding and made sure to just go with it and capture all the moments of us with our guests. She really takes time to get to know you as a couple and has so much fun with you while she hypes you up to get the best shots. Not only do I love her work, but her personality makes her a great vendor to work with!

Homeschoolin, Home birthin, and Holistic mama that loves to capture Life and Love in it's truest moments and forms. My business has been a decade in the making from falling in love with photography in high school, to now... My love for Milkweed and my time spent living in Iowa has inspired my business name. I used to live near a conservation center with fields of milkweed. My children and I spent many days enjoying this haven of beauty and were blessed to see thousands of Monarch butterflies migrate to the Milkweed. I realize how fleeting these moments are and would love to capture your story!

Working with milkweed moments is a breeze! I was nervous because I have a 3 and 1 year old, and wasn’t sure how they would cooperate. Aubriana made everything go smoothly. She’s great with kids, great with directives on posing, and really made the day so fun! She got all the shots I dreamed of!”. Will be booking her again in the future!

Photography is more than a skill; it's a way of seeing the world. I find magic in the ordinary and fleeting moments. Every image is an opportunity to share my perspective and invite others to see the world through my eyes. I want to capture the emotions, the stories, and the atmospheres that surround each photograph. Through my work, I want to trigger memories that will bring you back to feeling the moment.

We had Nancy do our engagement photos and our wedding which turned out absolutely amazing! She is so nice and fun to work with which made it a great experience. Her videographer team was so fun to work with as well. She has such a creative eye and will truly make your visions come to life.

I started my business when I was just 17 years old. Since then I have turned that small hobby into a full time career photographing beautiful couples love stories. Throughout my 8 years in business, I have been lucky enough to photograph over 200 weddings throughout Georgia and the other southern states.

As a wedding officiant, I have the pleasure of working with so many different vendors, photographers in particular, and I can honestly say that Taylor is one of the best! Working with her is always fabulous! Her professionalism, creativity, and dedication to capturing perfect moments and special details are second to none. She puts couples at ease with her easy going nature which helps them to relax around her and act naturally, in turn allowing her to capture a variety of gorgeous shots. During the ceremony itself, she blends seamlessly into the background while effortlessly capturing the essence of the heart of the ceremony. So much so that, as the officiant, I am unaware that she is even there which I think is a perfect approach for that particular part of the wedding day! Taylors work is truly beautiful and her commitment to ensuring her couples have the best possible photography experience attention to detail and commitment to excellence makes her a standout choice for any wedding or special event. I highly recommend Taylor to couples seeking not only beautiful photographs that will serve as lasting memories, but also a stress-free, authentic, personable experience on their big day.

Natalie Fong Malis

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $7,995
  • Serves Blue Springs, MO for additional fees

Natalie is a Taiwanese-American photographer inspired by warmth & connection, reminiscent of her upbringing in Hawai'i. She graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Photography while working alongside fashion designers & directors on editorial and campaign productions. For over a decade, Natalie has directed her lens towards weddings, finding a meaningful depth in the relationships that she develops with her subjects and the cultural & physical environments that surround them. Her background in fashion marries a tender, documentarian perspective to provide refined imagery with an editorial edge without compromising the truth of what happened.

Awarded Best of Zola
Without a doubt, Natalie was the best 'purchase' of our wedding. We hummed and hawwed for months about whether or not to get a photographer - everyone has an iPhone right? They take pretty good shots. And a photographer makes up a significant portion of the budget. We were so very wrong on all counts. Every time I look through both our engagement shoot, and our wedding, I get teary. She has managed to capture the very essence of us, our emotions, our personalities and all of the special moments that made up the day. In the end we asked everyone to put away their phones and let Natalie and her amazing co-pilot husband Conor, do their work. Which they did beautifully. Natalie is an NYU trained photographer - her photographs are a mixture of fine art, portrait and breathtaking scenic shots. There's no WAY you can capture the heart of a day without a professional, and even some of those don't manage to get it right. Natalie does it all with a laugh, a smile, and an ability to make everyone feel at ease. Nearly every one of our guests commented on how much they liked our photographer - she made them feel at ease and was never intrusive or rude, like many photographers can be to guests. On this point, it was also important to us that we got shots of everyone having fun at the wedding - we didn't want to end up with 800 photos of just the two of us, like so many portfolio wedding albums we saw. Natalie and Conor made sure that they covered everything - we have photos of all of our loved ones enjoying themselves. We love it! Finally, in terms of support, Natalie is incredibly responsive, able to work to both a timeline and a direction, and her edits are speedy and beautiful. We made a life-long friend in Natalie and know that we will be hiring her again to capture all of life's most important moments. We cannot thank, or recommend her enough. Now, stop debating and get in touch with her! It'll be the best and easiest wedding decision you've made.

I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

I catered a wedding for which Silvia Gilbert was the wedding photographer. She communicated with everyone very clearly on timelines. She was very professional and efficient and made everyone feel at ease. I would gladly work with Silvia again.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

My husband and I can both be awkward with photos but Austin had all kinds of tips and tricks to make us feel more comfortable. We ended up hiring him again when we got engaged and I still have guests to this day take pictures of the prints I have on my wall that Austin took. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a photographer!

The New Romantic

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $9,500
  • Serves Blue Springs, MO for additional fees

I'm Megan, a fine art wedding photographer serving New England & the Pacific Northwest. I've been photographing weddings since 2015, and I still tear up during just about every wedding ceremony. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm running after my one year old daughter, renovating our 1932 colonial home, and adding to my continually growing collection of cookbooks.

Megan is one of the kindest, nicest, most wonderful humans, on top of being a truly fantastic photographer. From the first call to discuss her style and how the process would go, we could tell she was different. She was so easy to work with! She made everything feel so natural and put both me and my now-husband at ease. She was considerate and creative both during our engagement shoot and our actual wedding day, offering suggestions and taking advantage of the beautiful scenery, golden hour, and spontaneous moments to truly capture our day. She treated us and our party with tenderness and grace, and brought an incredible calm to a very busy day. Her photos are also absolutely gorgeous! Looking at them, I honestly can’t believe they’re real! She elevated what she saw and captured our day, distilling the emotions and experience, and produced photos that are a perfect encapsulation of our day: full of pure joy, love, and light. I am so glad we worked with Megan - we will treasure the moments she captured forever. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
