South Glen farm is amazing! I’m a local MN photographer and have been amazed every time I’m out there to photograph a wedding. Sherry is one of the owners at the farm and she is simply amazing. She is great at communicating and making your wedding day dreams come true! They have a beautiful pavilion out there to get married in (with plans to expand it too). I cannot recommend enough! The entire Grands team was amazing to work with from start to finish! Joe (general manager) gave us an in-depth tour and made sure we knew all of our options. Mel (events director) made sure we stayed on track with timeline and choosing all the details. Larry (entertainment director) made sure our guests had the best time - I don't think the dance floor was ever empty! And we can't forget about Alyssa (day of coordinator) - she made sure the team had us covered in ways we would have never thought. She made the day stress-free, which was a dream! All of our guests had a great time and couldn't stop talking about how great the venue and team were. 100/10 recommend having your wedding at The Grands!

As soon as we toured the Gardens of Castle Rock, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The grounds are gorgeous, extensive, and you get them all to yourself all day! The bridal suit is huge and perfect for photos as well as comfy for hanging out. Kris and Berit and Glenn and the whole staff were incredibly easy to work with and so helpful and responsive. They also provide a really useful blog and flickr account full of photo ideas. Everything is so customizable; our wedding was so personal. Even when the weather didn't cooperate and it stormed after the ceremony, everyone pivoted to the tent and the sides went up in a blink of an eye! I didn't have to lift a finger all day and everything was perfect. More beautiful photo locations than we could use all day and such a smooth experience. I can't recommend them enough.

I just have to say…my husband and I were very blessed to have the most magical wedding and it was mainly because of Marlys and Kurt, owners of Adler Ranch. I have seen so many reviews of “I wish our wedding venue would have told us (fill in the blank here)before we booked” there was none of that with Adler Ranch. They were very up front with what we could and couldn’t expect. Honestly Marlys goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best day. Now let’s talk about the venue. We seriously still have guests saying that was the most memorable wedding they have ever been too because the venue is so unique and one of a kind! I was so worried about not having a Photo Booth at my wedding and even my wedding planner told me “seriously I know it’s my job to upsell you on this but you don’t need it with all the natural backdrops at Adler Ranch” I seriously miss my wedding planning because it was so fun to work with Marlys and Adler Ranch. I 100% recommend having your wedding or event here you will not regret it!

Been working weddings at the refuge for over 19 years. Hands down my favorite place to work with. The staff and food are as good as it get's. They will bend over backwords for you to make all your needs met. The place is beautiful like a ski lodge in Aspen with amazing place's for picture's and sunset. I have seen a bride change her mind 4 times before the ceremony on where to do it because of rain. The staff had all the chairs and wiped down and moved in under 13 minutes. Yes we moved 189 guest's 3 times in under 30 minutes because that is what the bride wanted on her day was outside. Sun came out and it rocked, and all we did was cut into 25 minutes of social hour. I could tell you stories for days and not one of them are bad. Joe, Krista and Lisa and the rest of the staff work very hard to make your wedding day everything you dreamed of. LUKE

My experience working with the owners and the venue managers at the 3 Ten was phenomenal from start to finish. Communication is always very quick and they made the process so easy with how organized they are. The add-ons they offer (cafe lighting, swag lights behind the head table, and the gorgeous floor to ceiling sheer curtains) are so convenient. Day of, the venue staff, bartenders, and security staff were a breeze to work with. As a planner, with years of experience in the wedding industry, it was evident to me that every couple is treated like their top priority. I would highly recommend the 3 Ten to any couple!

Michelle has created such a gorgeous venue! From the day we went out to tour, it, she was so welcoming and so sweet! We fell in love instantly with the breath taking views and endless photo opportunities! The barn itself was so cute and gave us the rustic barn feeling we were looking for! We absolutely love the indoor/outdoor ceremony options along with the large back yard area for games and whatever else you would want! Beautiful, charming, full of options/amenities, and an easy-to-work-with venue owner. Yes, please. I toured a handful of places in MN before I signed up for the Barn at Ballard Creek. Other venues were either too expensive for what you get, the people weren't as approachable or as communicative, or as beautiful location-wise. I love the big red barn, the cottage to get ready in, the cows, the flowers, the big tree where I was married, and more. There's plenty of parking. It's clean. Lindsey helped me figure out how to make the wedding work for my vision and budget. I like that I wasn't forced to pick a specific caterer too. 5 stars all around. Have your event here! It's perfect.

The Capitol Room

The Capitol Room is located in the newly renovated historic armory of Saint Peter, Minnesota built-in 1913. The main ballroom is resplendent with over twenty chandeliers and hundreds of twinkling Edison bulbs all under a beautiful original wooden barrel-vaulted ceiling. Complimented by a backdrop of exposed brick and plaster. We have amazing suites for both the bride, groom, and bridal party. These suites have been carefully curated with a mix of modern and vintage furniture and the walls are covered with funky art that is flirtatious and nostalgic.

We used the Capitol Room for both our Ceremony and Reception and it was absolutely perfect! The space is stunning and holds a lot of character. We had plenty of space for both my wife and I to get ready in two separate suites. There was a separate space for everyone to enjoy cocktail hour while the room was flipped for the reception and dance. From the minute we toured the space we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. Sitting down with Megan was an absolute delight. We hired her for her day of coordinator services as well and she took care of everything. She made the room stunning and we didn’t have to worry about anything. She was extremely professional, she was in constant communication with us and even took our call the night before at 10pm when our officiant quit on us last minute. She helped us through the situation and calmed our nerves. The day of the ceremony it felt like we were working with one of our close friends by our sides. We can’t recommend Megan and the Capitol Room enough!!
