“From our first meeting I know Matty would be the perfect fit. He is super kind and incredibly professional. He led us through the wedding process with ease and smiles. He listened to our requests and added his own magic which I knew he would do. The dance floor was packed!! Matty was perfect in his execution- never stealing the spotlight from the bride and groom and he didn’t sing and shout over the music which we appreciated! (That has a time and place but not for this wedding). He pulled together instrumentals for the ceremony and managed the artists and added musicians at the reception and it really brought out the celebratory vibe of the night. “My husband and I are both musicians, as were many of our wedding guests, so when we were looking for a band to play at our October 2023 wedding in shoreline CT we knew we wanted an established band of kick-butt musicians. We had an initial phone call with Adam and immediately hit it off as fellow musicians! We knew we didn't want line dances or cliche wedding reception songs, and Adam was fully on board. He also mentioned how Around Town is different from other wedding bands - they have played together for years, where other companies just throw together contracted musicians for specific events who might not have ever played together before the day of your event. We loved the transparency about this, and immediately decided to book the Around Town Band, Adam's personal band. They played all through cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Our guests were already SO impressed by the time we got to dancing, but then we (the band, my husband, and I) surprised them by performing all together! I know it took extra work for the band to learn our requested song in order to surprise our guests, but I had no idea they had also coordinated with my brother (also a musician) to surprise ME with a song! Around Town really went above and beyond to make our wedding reception something out of our dreams. They are true musicians who completely set the tone for our guests - we are still getting compliments a year later, saying that Around Town made the night and is the best wedding band our guests have heard. If you want a band who will knock your guests' socks off, keep everyone dancing literally all night, and impress the musicians in your life, this is the band for you! Some tiny things I would say as a critique/heads up to other couples - we did not receive a set list in advance and communication was a little spotty. One of my main concerns for my wedding was that there would be songs played that I didn't know, so a set list a month or so before the event would have definitely eased those nerves, however one was never promised to us. That being said, we did extensively highlight the song list the band sent us early on to determine what songs they already knew that would fit our vision, so I think the vibe of what we were looking for was pretty clear, and in the end not a single song I didn't know was played! Communication was also a little tricky - we totally understand that the band would be very busy with events on top of keeping up with email communications, but we were sent a link to pay the remainder of our balance before some previous emails with questions were answered - it felt a little backwards and at the time really stressed me out, but it was more than made up for by the wedding day experience itself. Thank you, Adam and team, for being the BEST wedding band we could possibly dream of!”

Dhoom Events DJed and emceed our Baraat and reception, did sound for our ceremony, and lighting at the reception as well. We are so happy with the service at all of these events. They were very accommodating when we needed to postpone our wedding multiple times due to the pandemic. When the day finally came for us to have our event, everything was perfect. DJ Milin did a great job getting the energy levels up at the Baraat, even on a chilly day. The reception music was perfect. Milin worked with us ahead of the event to make sure we would have a good mix of Indian and American music so that guests from both sides across multiple generations had a good time. He also helped us think through the logistics and timing of events, with valuable input from his experience with similar events. He did an amazing job the day of reading the energy of the crowd and keeping people on the dance floor all night. Having good music that guests would want to dance to was something that was super important to us, and we are so happy that we chose Dhoom Events to DJ and emcee our events! “We were on the hunt for the perfect band for my wedding on Zola, WeddingWire and The Knot. My fiancé and I wanted to find a band that had no negative reviews. We came across bands with 500 reviews, but after reading some bad feedback, we started feeling concerned. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash.
