“We had an amazing experience with The Hook Club for our wedding. Dan and his team were so easy to work with, and their 5-piece DJ band was the perfect, fun switch-up from a traditional band for our June wedding at Greenpoint Loft. We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. The uplights they brought for the room were priced very well and created a beautiful atmosphere. The music planning worksheet they provided was incredibly helpful, and they offered valuable advice on the timeline and flow of the reception, which was a huge help. They were fun to work with, and on the night of the wedding, they absolutely crushed it. The music was fantastic, they kept the vibes high, and their crowd engagement was excellent. “My name's Dan and I'm a professional wedding photographer in NH. I really enjoy reception time and try my best to capture the guests having fun on the dance floor. Not all receptions are the same and I've found that djs often have a big part in how the party moves into the night. Well, I photographed a wedding this weekend that included Chuck Russek from Get Down Tonight and he kept the dance floor packed the entire time. He was professional and really kept things moving. The guests even started a Conga Line which I joined while taking photos of the excitement. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about Chuck Russek and Get Down Tonight!”

“I've never worked with a DJ as good as Drew and his crew. Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures. “My friend hired and coordinated with Luis from lionizing entertainment as a DJ for our engagement party in July. It was our first time meeting him at the party and from the beginning he was professional and personable. He made sure we had the type of music we wanted and kept people dancing. We were so happy with his services so we decided to hire him to DJ our wedding this past weekend as well. We originally had a summer wedding planned and decided to move it up sooner. Luis was so flexible and understanding when we reached out about the date change and we were still able to work with him for our new date. Throughout the planning process Luis was super responsive whenever we needed anything and he would check in to make sure we didn’t have any questions and he was more than prepared for our big day. He kept the night running smoothly despite the changes we made to the schedule of events at the last minute. Throughout the night he checked in with us and advocated for everything we needed. Our other vendors came up to us and said how much they loved working with Luis and how easy it was to get along with him. We decided to add a photo booth at the last minute and we are so glad we did because all of our guests were obsessed! Everyone used it all night and we got to keep the high quality photos after. A ton of guests reached out after the fact to say how impressed they were with the Photo Booth and the quality of pictures they received. The Photo Booth was so much of a hit we are renting it for our baby shower coming up in the spring as well.
