Events by Lisa was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! Her communication was 10/10 - Lisa was so easy to reach out to and the connection was definitely there. The quality of their work and value was unmatched, as Lisa went above and beyond. She thought everything through and even when little things went wrong, she took care of them so quickly without worrying me or anyone else. For example, Lisa made sure to call all the vendors ahead of time to confirm, and turns out one vendor had the dates mixed up, but she got that figured out on the wedding day without even telling us so we wouldn't worry. She also had extra makeup on hand which was so helpful for touch-ups throughout the day. I think everyone needs to invest in a day-of coordinator, and Lisa was such a life-saver - I can't imagine how bumpy our day would have been if she wasn't there!

We hired Miranda as our day-of wedding coordinator, and I don't know what we would have done without her. She is warm, friendly, thoughtful, organized, and highly competent. She is a great communicator who has a knack for figuring out the missing pieces of a situation and getting them sorted out. We had our venue cancel on us 6 weeks before our wedding and ended up having to host it on our property, so there was a lot of pandemonium and last-minute prep work being done right up until the moment before the ceremony. Miranda and her husband Tyler jumped in, kicked butt, and made sure it all came together. I would have been a stressed-out wreck without her. Honestly, she is the reason I was able to enjoy my wedding day. Don't sleep on a coordinator/planner, and definitely hire Miranda if you're looking for one. She is the real deal.

The most amazing wedding event I could have ever ask for: especially with Donna from DBC Eventz. The venue was absolutely stunning, offering a perfect blend of elegance and modernity. The catering service provided a delicious array of local and international cuisines that delighted every guest. We worked with City & Terrace to book our wedding venue. Their Team was amazing in helping with negotiating with the venue in order to get the best deal and making sure that we did not overlook anything in the contract and asked the right questions on our call/visit. Lauren is also helping us stay on track by providing us with amazing checklists of when different items need to be booked including helping negotiate the room block contract! We would recommend their Team to anyone especially with their al la carte services! For us, it was the perfect way to get started with wedding planning and stay organized!

I worked with Dominique as a day-of coordinator and honestly I wish I had booked her from the very beginning of the planning process. Mailee at Noble Beginnings was an absolute angel. We hired her as a day-of coordinator and her help pre-wedding and day-of was immensely helpful. We don’t know what we would’ve done without her! When I first reached out to the Embrace U team, I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the funds on a day of coordinator. After a couple of conversations with Erin, I was convinced the Embrace U team was worth every penny. The team did not disappoint, my husband and I will be forever grateful. Erin's attention to detail and years of experience shined. She ensured she completely understood our vision and what was most important to us. Four weeks prior to our wedding date, Erin took over vendor communication and was our point of contact. This was such a stress relief. Erin also created a wedding day timeline, which is one of the reasons why we had such a successful wedding. All the vendors and our bridal party knew our plan and timeline the week before our wedding. I did make minor changes last minute but Erin helped communicate those to the vendors. Erin and her team were always near by but not in the way. Anytime I needed to ask or point out small things that came up, the Embrace U team was just a quick glance and nod away. At the end of our reception, Erin and her team ensured everything was neatly saved away and cleaned up. My husband, nor myself, nor my bridal party needed to worry about clean up. As a Bride, I fully enjoyed every moment of our wedding day. Looking back I didn't stress about any aspect of our day because I knew we had Erin and the Embrace U team. Shaymah was extremely organized with a very chaotic wedding - chaos due to family drama, etc. While the chaos was stressful, Shaymah was very detailed and thorough with all of the wedding planning, including designing florals and signs completely on her own (great designer too!), and including last minute issues with guest count, etc. She's very sweet, kind and helpful and great to work with! I would recommend her for any type of wedding event. She was also very professional through all of the chaos and made sure that the event went well!

Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

Morgan and Aubrey did an amazing job helping us execute not only the picture perfect day from start to finish, but one that we were actually able to enjoy during the event as well. They are highly recommended to all. Great communication, Excellent customer service. Our 3rd time using this company because they do it all ha-ha and we appreciate their honesty and transparency. We do not regret the choice of booking them for our wedding. We love a great planning company that will not rip you off. You know exactly where every dime is going thanks to Amaka and her report sheet. They also do not charge you for every little add on like other planners do. Let’s also mention that they always work with our budget, but we usually end up tipping because they're just soo goood :-). One thing we really love, is having our own contracts for vendors. Vendors will send out contracts to Amaka, and she in return will send contracts to the vendors to sign on our behalf so it made us feel very comfortable with booking the recommended vendors. It keeps us safe from vendors that cancel last minute or show up late.

Rose and her team were a wonderful asset to ensuring the enjoyment of our wedding! We hired Rose as a month of coordinator for our May 2024 wedding. Once we started working with her the month prior to the wedding a lot of my anxieties regarding how the day was going to go were taken away due to her depth of experience and professionalism. She really took the reins during those last weeks to follow up on final details with our vendors and getting closer to the date I had people asking me if I was stressed out and I can honestly say that I was not as I knew that we were in great hands. The time frame leading up to the wedding I felt my excitement build with each meeting that we had with Rose! The day of the wedding her team of professionals I feel went above and beyond to ensure that everything was to my wishes. They constantly checked in on me during the whole day from when I started getting my makeup done to the last dance, I felt incredibly happy and was truly able to enjoy my wedding day. We wanted an intimate wedding and I was worried that a planner would not be as invested as they would for a larger wedding - that could not have father from the truth. From the initial call, all the way through the wedding day and beyond, she has been our designer, therapist, and dream maker. Her professionalism, quick response times to my million questions, and advice on all things wedding related were so helpful during the planning process. She sent a personalized mood board of things we had discussed on the phone and I got to go through and choose the ideas that spoke to me. As I neared the day however, I began to worry that there were aspects of the planning that I overlooked. I hired The Cosmos at their Month-of package level taking all of that worry out of the process. They took care of all of the things I did miss - called out that there was no plan for trash receptacles, revised the number of glasses rented, added bathroom attendants, adjusted the number of staff etc, but an unexpected element (and maybe the most important) is that they helped me to manage difficult family members.
