We had a relatively short engagement (about 8 months) and shopped for venues for a good while before deciding on Sunset Oaks. They try are the best for your money, so hands on and they are so transparent about their pricing and what they offer! Their decor closet is extensive! They had so much you can borrow for your big day for free and it was all actually cute/current things. The venue itself is beautiful not too rustic or modern a perfect canvas to hold your wedding day! We loved working with Coby she was so proactive and helpful and the big day went off perfectly.

The Wildflower was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first reached out, Debbie was quick to respond, assuring, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. The outdoor setting with its beautiful pond and contemporary barn was exactly the vibe we were going for. On the day of, Debbie made sure everything went so smoothly - we even got to share a special dance with her and Kevin which was such a lovely moment. The Wildflower truly exceeded our expectations and we're so grateful to have celebrated our special day in such a beautiful, one-of-a-kind space.

The onsite host was exceptionally helpful leading up to our big day - always quick to respond to questions and requests in a warm and friendly manner. Their communication style made wedding planning feel less stressful. Our guests raved about the beautiful scenery and how smoothly the event flowed thanks to the staff's attention to detail. A major plus was linens being included in the rental fee, one less thing for us to arrange and pay for separately. We had the most perfect wedding at WWR. The venue itself is on a beautiful backdrop on the Texas countryside. The venue owners are very hands on and are very responsive. They are reasonably priced and offer so many suggestions to have a beautiful event for any budget. Donna sent us a list of recommended vendors that helped us to find an amazing photographer. She was our DOC and was so helpful the day of the wedding. I almost didn't have to think about anything on the day of because she handled all of it. We had an outdoor wedding in June, but the shaded ceremony cite made the heat bearable. All of our guests said that they were totally fine in the shade during the ceremony. Guests even continued to hangout in the shade after the reception started.

Shepherd Run Estate Helped deliver everything We wanted for our Wedding. The Coordinator helped take care of everything so we didn't have to worry about anything except walking down the aisle. We didn't have a big budget and they worked with us. We had plenty of time without feeling rushed. They helped set everything up and made sure the caterer and cakes got set up with no problems. I couldn't have been more thankful for Everything they did. The Venue had great places to take Pictures and the Bridal Suite was much bigger than we thought! My Groom and groomsmen really enjoyed the Wolfs Den also. I don't think i can say enough good things about this place. I can't recommend a better Place! Shepherd Run Estate! Book THEM!

We several lovely outdoor setting backdrops for wedding ceremony or photos, including our 100 year old Oak.

Simply the best decision we made for our wedding (other than who to marry). Jeff and Georgia went beyond the assigned duties. They helped us with set up, vendor recommendations, and even set up a napping area for this exhausted bride. The venue is gorgeous and conveniently located just outside of town. I also recommend going to a couple’s retreat.

The RoseMary is the perfect clean slate! I wanted a very modern style wedding, but with a country feel and this was perfect! I did the all-inclusive package that came with all my vendors and not only did it make everything so stress free, but it saved me a lot of money too! I could not recommend this venue enough!

We were wanting to do more of a “party” than a traditional wedding, and McKinney Flour Mill was one of the few vendors to really understand our vision and work with us on it. They were always very responsive and answered all my questions, and they let us come in on multiple weekends to tour the venue and develop our layout. I also loved that they had a decor room add on option and they had tons of awesome decorations we could use. Everything was going perfectly until the day of. When we got to the venue the day of the wedding, there were ceremony chairs lined up instead of the tables that we needed set up as we were not doing a traditional ceremony (so there must have been some miscommunication within their team on this). However, it wasn’t a huge deal and our wedding party was able to quickly get the room re-organized. The wedding itself was great and went off without a hitch! But then when we were cleaning up afterwards, the owner seemed pretty annoyed and short with us. We brought in some of our own decorations as well as used some of theirs and we had discussed previously that we would give them our decorations we had brought in to use as part of their decor room for future weddings. When we were actually cleaning up, the owner wanted us to take everything of ours and leave nothing in the decor room so we ended up just throwing all of our decorations out. Overall, they were great to work with and we loved the venue, but the ending was just very weird….

The place is beautiful on the inside, with chandeliers, candle walls, cake décor and a inbuilt photo wall. Additionally, it has provision for a projector, up lighting, mic system and a bar. The best part was BYOB and inclusion of premium quality linen, runners and liberty to decorate as needed. The venue can easily hold 75-100 people with place to have a dance floor. Darrell is one of the best people I have worked with. Always smiling and helpful. The entire staff was more than accommodative of our needs. It is in historic downtown McKinney and keeps with the beauty of the downtown as well. I am so happy I choose this place for my reception.

We toured about 6 other venues around DFW before we visited the Pearl. My husband visited the Pearl at their open house in January 2022 while I was on a work trip and he knew this place was something special. We made an appointment with Connie and Barry for a few days later to go together and as we walked through the venue, we couldn't imagine any place else we wanted our wedding. Barry gave us the best venue tour we had been on and asked us questions about how we wanted our wedding to look to better help us see how our day would be. Throughout the planning process, I probably emailed Connie a dozen times and she was always so quick and happy to help with any suggestions or questions I had. They do a great job of thinking of all the details you need. On our wedding day on March 18, 2023, we couldn't have had a more magical and perfect day. All of our friends and family thought the venue and the wedding were amazing. I can't recommend the Pearl enough and highly encourage you to attend their open house if able or if not then book a tour as soon as you read the review.

They make sure everything is prepared before your wedding, you're taken care of throughout the whole planning process, and everything runs as smoothly as possible day of!
