I grew up on a farm in a small Midwestern town, but have lived in New York City for over 25 years. As a photographer I say I'm self-taught, but in reality I've had the benefit of amazing mentors and teachers along the way who helped me elevate my work and pursue joy along with results. When not making photos or hanging out with my husband and kids, you can find me with a book in hand or listening to music while indulging my love of textiles at my sewing machine (yes, I really own a sewing machine)! Oh, or dancing! :-)
