We could not have asked for a better experience! Candice was an absolute joy to work with and extremely easy to contact. She was with us every step of the way from first conversation to choosing vendors to making sure everything was set up correctly day of! We are from out of state and had no knowledge of what vendors to use. Candice was extremely helpful with providing us with multiple options and making sure each vendor was on top of everything. We would recommend her to anyone looking to have a California wedding, but we would especially recommend her for those who are out of state or not familiar with the area.

We are still in awe of the incredible experience we had at Tar Creek Ranch for our wedding! If you're dreaming of a rustic, barn-style wedding with elegance and charm, this is the place. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is a beautiful blend of rustic and romantic. The barn exudes character with its wooden beams, open space, and warm, inviting atmosphere. We loved how the space felt both intimate and expansive—perfect for creating the cozy, laid-back vibe we envisioned, while still providing room for all of our guests to dance the night away. The outdoor pavilion was also a wonderful space for our first dance and outdoor dining. The pavilion features a large tent with a clear top and sides, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful sunset while savoring their meal. In addition, the ranch house was a lovely space for my bridal party to stay and get ready for the day. The house offers amazing natural light and plenty of space for all of your guests. The team at Tar Creek Ranch made the entire planning process seamless. From the moment we toured the venue to the last dance of the night, the staff was incredibly supportive, professional, and detail-oriented. They helped us bring our vision to life, whether it was coordinating the timeline, offering decor ideas, or ensuring everything went off without a hitch. On the wedding day, they handled everything with ease and grace, allowing us to focus on enjoying the moment. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how stunning the venue was! From the beautiful barn to the cocktail area and the pavilion, it truly provided the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. What can I say. I was always told weddings were stressful, expensive, and I’d regret not spending the money on something else. I believe without Kari, this might have been the case. My husband and I had the best wedding weekend at 1800 El Pomar. The farmhouse is a great place to host and have family from out of town come visit. We had our rehearsal dinner at the farmhouse as well and it was so fun! The ceremony and reception spots are so gorgeous and have everything you need to make your special day exceptional. The family that runs this venue is so sweet and accommodating and they made the whole process stress free. Could not recommend this venue more!!

Kristyn captured our wedding in September 2019 in Soquel, CA. Searching for a wedding photographer is no easy feat, but when i found Kristyn’s instagram I knew she was the one. Her work is absolutely beautiful, I mean her galleries speak for themselves. However, I also knew that I needed someone on that day who was down to earth and felt like a friend. I can’t tell you how many weddings I’ve been in where either the photographer was too assertive or just felt like a stranger. From our first phone call I immediately clicked with Kristyn. The year leading up to our wedding was definitely not an easy one, as I was battling health issues, which caused us to postpone our engagement shoot. Kristyn was nothing short of an angel with accommodating us. I will seriously never be able to thank her enough for the support she gave me that year leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, her and her second shooter, Beth, were so great to work with. Kristyn wore so many hats that day. I first picked up a camera in high school and was instantly obsessed with the process and possibilities of capturing images. I went on to study at The San Francisco Art Institute and transferred to The Art Center, College of Design in Pasadena, earning a BFA in Photography. I began my career as a photographer in a Los Angeles product photo studio. While working there, I found I had a talent for photo retouching. I worked as a professional retoucher for many years and know what many celebrities really look like hah! I made my way back to freelance photography after having my daughter in 2013.

We LOVED working with Gennan. Out photos are spectacular, abundant and just what we hoped for. I love that she schedules a call with you to discuss your style and vibes, to get to know you a bit. She was responsive through email prior to the big day, and I was so impressed she even brought some of the inspo pics I had sent for us to recreate. She was very professional while being easy and fun to shoot with! She even resent some photos that were B&W that we wanted in color. Edits were lovely. Now our only problem is trying to choose from so many favorites.

Gracie and the entire staff at Opolo are just wonderful! My husband and I just married 11/19/2022 and had started our planning journey 11/2021. Opolo was the last place we saw on our list. I couldn't have been more please! Gracie was so helpful and responsive to all of our question. The boys had a place to get ready the day of not just us girls! The place was just an absolutely beautiful! Gracie and staff went above and beyond. This place should be everyones top pick! The wine is amazing as well and we have had nothing but complaints on how beautiful our wedding was.

I commissioned Scarborough Affair as my floral vendor for my wedding in October and could not have been happier with my experience and the services provided. The bouquets, boutonnieres, flower girl crowns, corsages, table arrangements and trellis garlands were absolutely breathtaking and more beautiful than I could have hoped for or imagined. Not only did my husband and I love the floral designs, our family and friends did too, and our pictures turned out lovely. Selecting flowers for an event like a wedding can be overwhelming and stressful with so many options, but the owner, Laura, made the experience pleasant. She has a unique talent for helping you find the flowers and colors you love and bringing your vision to life in an elegant, artistic way. Laura thoughtfully listened to my ideas and color scheme, as well as budget and used her stylistic eye, knowledge/experience, and creativity to construct stunning and lovely smelling arrangements. On the day of the wedding, Scarborough Affair arrived punctually, set up efficiently in the limited venue set up time, meticulously inspected the arrangements (which were pristinely composed), and created a beautiful ambiance at the venue. On a side note, I was also impressed at how fresh the flowers were and how well they held up, as my wedding day happened during an extreme heatwave. I would definitely highly recommend using Scarborough Affair for a wedding or special occasion. I am truly grateful to SA for having my wedding flowers turn out so perfectly and helping make such a momentous day so special and memorable. Thank you!

The Madonna Inn was a beautiful wedding venue, but the communication and coordination with the staff left much to be desired. The head venue coordinator was difficult to work with and constantly butted heads with our wedding coordinator, making our day more stressful than it needed to be. The chairs for the ceremony were set up just 10 minutes before our guests arrived, and the overall communication from the venue could have been a lot better. Despite these issues, the staff was generally great, and the venue itself was stunning. However, the poor coordination and communication made the planning process more challenging than it should have been.

Everyone complimented her personality and our pictures aquickly and they were sooo beautiful we couldn’t even pick our favorites. I used to have a lounge in San Francisco where we made our own specialty cocktails, so my standards are pretty high when it comes to yummy cocktails! Lauren was so helpful every step of the way to work with me to create the best menu of amazing special drinks. Also she helped to put our complex order together and did many custom touches like special garnishes for each different drink. The day of the wedding she & her bartender were prepped & ready for anything we needed. Also their vibe was so lovely and in sync with our very special day and guests.
