The Kester Homestead is a historic farm venue located on the cusp of Finger Lakes Region in Upstate NY. Enjoy access to the entire property for the duration of your gathering weekend. Stay in the 1854 House, wander the trails to our Woodland Cathedral for ceremony, then dine and dance in our Wild Garden and Gambrel Barn.

A Place For Your Together Awaits! Private, Family owned business with 115 acres of picturesque country views of hilltops, the nine mile swamp, and valley. Authentic , rustic barn over 100 years old. Hayloft open floor plan with built in large bar area, nice restrooms inside barn, decorative lighting with some old country charm furniture and props throughout. Black, round cocktail tables with assorted black chairs, larger round fold up tables all included for up to 175 guests. Set up how you wish! We also offer our large Lodge on-site (once a greenhouse) that can currently accommodate ten overnight guests. The Cathedral Room is a former Gothic Church re-purposed for special events! It is the perfect venue for weddings, receptions, and large parties. For smaller gatherings, we suggest The Gathering Room a warm and welcoming space located at the same location

The Foundation of Light is a spiritual center for meditation. The study and regular practice of meditation, as an aid to the expansion of consciousness and self-realization, is a fundamental part of all Foundation of Light activities. The founders of the Foundation of Light, John and Kate Payne, along with Mabel DeMotte Beggs, were experts in many forms of ancient healing techniques. Built in 2000, the main Foundation of Light building has several diverse rooms available, depending on your group size and needs.

Through hands-on, visual exhibitions and outreach, the Museum of the Earth encourages critical thinking about life on Earth in the past and today, and how our species is affecting the natural world.
