I'm Jake, and I'm a wedding + engagement photographer based in Appleton, Wisconsin. What started out as a hobby has now turned into my career and full time job, although I'm hesitant to even use the word "job," as it truly has never felt like work to me. The time that I get to spend with couples who have just dedicated their lives to one another is something that I feel truly blessed to experience. While I’m located in Appleton, WI, I do love to travel and explore new places. I picked up my first camera in 2019 and started second shooting weddings in 2020. I'm an avid lover of love stories and good desserts, I love getting to capture candid moments during wedding days and getting to celebrate with my couples. I've been married to the love of my life since Feb. 2019 and we have a daughter together and we just had our baby boy in Nov. 2023. We enjoy fishing, hiking and reading as a family.

I am so dang excited to hear all about your love story! I've always dreamed of being able to stay home and raise my babies but still be able to create the art that burns so passionately in my heart. When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me doing all the mom things. A few of my go-to activities include hiking a new spot, spending the day at my favorite beach, or camping in the pines. Truthfully, I've never said no to an adventure. You could ask me to hop a plane with you next week to the mountains and I would make it happen.
