My name is Elliot Stokes and I am a photographer located in the Madison, WI area, but I work all across Wisconsin and Illinois. I have been drawn to the camera since I was young, but becoming a father has really shown me the magic behind capturing the most candid and beautiful moments of our lives. I started my journey into professional photography officially in the summer of 2019 and received my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree with honors in Digital Photography in the spring of 2022. I absolutely love what I do and look forward to every new experience and opportunity this journey takes me on!

I am a full time event photographer and capturing these monumental moments for all the great couples I've worked with has been such an honor of mine. I truly love being able to tell stories with my craft and freeze these beautiful moments for people. I take pride in my work and I take my craft very seriously. Wedding and event photography is everything to me and all i do, so I am always available for my couples and I take a lot of pride in my communication. I also provide same-day sneak peeks as well as a drone video so my couples can relive their day instantly!

4 Hour Event Package - $2,000

Description

Includes edits on all the images from the day, travel, optional engagement session and short drone video if time and weather permits. Non-refundable deposit of 25% is due at booking with the next 25% payment due either 6 months prior to the event date or at the engagement session. Final payment would be due the day of the event.

6 Hour Event Package - $2,500

    Elliot and I worked together as vendors on a wedding in November of 2024. Elliot was the couple's photographer and I was the videographer. The day went incredibly smooth and I had fun filming alongside Elliot. We were both able to get creative shots and communication was extremely easy. The dynamic between us was pretty devoid of stress, and that's how it should be! The couple was incredibly kind and laidback too, so it was a really pleasant day and evening.

    We could not be happier with the overall experience we had with Developing Diamonds Photography for our engagement session and wedding day! Both our engagement photos and our wedding photos are absolutely breathtaking. Elliot and Andrew were so incredibly fun to work with, yet so professional, on time, and made the whole process super easy for everyone involved. If we ever need professional pictures in the future, I know who we will be contacting. And we will definitely be recommending to everyone we can!!!

    I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to have Elliot as our photographer for our wedding! Simply put - book Elliot for your next event! He is the best vendor we have ever worked with and I promise you will not be disappointed. Elliot is incredibly responsive - like anytime we had a question (which was often) he would be texting/calling us back within 10 min. It was so nice and really helped relieve a lot of stress throughout our planning. Elliot is extremely knowledgeable in his field of work and was extremely helpful in guiding all of our poses and providing insight on the best location spots and recommended order of events. Elliot prioritizes you on your special day and will do anything to get the best shots - he literally climbed a tree for us lol! He also kept a box of Q-tips on him at all times to help me blot my tears without ruining my makeup which was so so sweet. Elliot is also very efficient. He gets great shots super quickly and can work within your timeline. He literally had our sneak peeks and drone video uploaded to my phone the same day as our event. Overall, Elliot is extremely passionate about his work and will do everything he can to ensure you are happy with the result. We are obsessed with what we have seen so far and cannot wait to see the full package!

    We are absolutely floored with Elliot and Developing Diamonds. He has made the entire process so easy and stress free. Through scheduling (and rescheduling) our engagement session, he was beyond accommodating and understanding of the chaos that life can sometimes be. Through our engagement session, mapping out our wedding timeline, and the entire day of, he was helpful, professional, always on-time, and had a sense of calm that was so refreshing when we all know how chaotic wedding planning can be. As someone who doesn't love being in front of a camera, I was stressed about how I was going to look in the engagement photo session and after the wedding, but all I can say wow. That is not the case in these albums. He does such a great job of being efficient with photos, so much that I thought after the wedding that I didn't know if we had all the photos we wanted or if we missed a ton. Also wrong - he documented the entire day so beautifully, and in such a style that you got a sense of the feeling and emotion and excitement. It was exactly the style of photography I was looking for and he nailed it on the head. He even gave us the option of leaving an hour early because he felt like he had enough and using that time for a future family session. I cannot speak highly enough of Elliot, we treasure these pictures so much and are looking forward to working with him again.
