Hi, friend! I’m Devin, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Lombard, Illinois. I serve Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, Milwaukee, Rockford, and I’m always up for an adventure. I absolutely love celebrating with my couples on one of the best days of their lives! I’m always up for an adventure! I’ve never met a mountain that I didn’t like. I love my dogs (all dogs TBH), Leslie Knope, and the Great British Bake Off. I would love to hear about your story and your vision for your wedding day!

I love investing in and getting to really know my couples – I think that’s the best way to tell your story! The friendships I’ve made along the way are the absolute best part of being a photographer. I love genuine moments and making people laugh. I want to create images that you’ll still love in 20, 50, 100 years! I keep the photography experience easygoing and lighthearted, so you never leave feeling “gosh, that was awkward!”

    My husband and I hired Devin for our 2021 wedding....after it had been postponed due to COVID - it was a stressful time! The absolute silver lining is that Devin was SUCH a good fit for our vibe: she put us at ease and took photos that were vibrant and fun (rather than tender and serious). She got to know us and photographed us "as we wanted to be seen." The other component of this is that when we received our wedding (and engagement) photos, they were all excellent. I am CERTAIN that Devin had to cull through a bunch of awkward shots....but the ones she sent made me feel super attractive always. Excellent judgement on her part! Reviewing our wedding photos let us relive the day - it captured not only the visuals but the *feel* of the day. Since then, I've also hired Devin to shoot musician headshots for me, with the same experience. I would hire her again with enthusiasm!

    Devin photographed our wedding last year and was nothing short of fantastic!! We started off with our engagement photos, and had such a good time with her. She immediately made us feel comfortable being in front of the camera. She gave us plenty of direction, but also was happy to let us do our own thing. Fast forward to the wedding day, she captured everything so beautifully, and was even kind enough to help with the tricky buttons on my dress. We will forever treasure the pictures she took for us. I cannot recommend her enough!!

    If you’re thinking about booking Devin, do it!! She is the best human to work with! We got married in the Charleston area, and she was 100% willing to travel and so easy to work with! She also shot our engagement pictures, so from mountains to the beach, she captured it all in the most beautiful way. Above all else, Devin makes you feel comfortable and safe. There were many times during the wedding that I forgot she was even there, but she still captured every moment. Truly pictures and memories we will cherish for a lifetime!! Thank you, Devin!

    Devin Hayman Photography was incredible to work with for our wedding! From the very beginning, Devin took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand what was most important to us on our big day. Her communication style was warm and personable, which immediately put us at ease. On the wedding day, Devin and her assistant captured every moment beautifully - from our posed family photos to the spontaneous moments like my brother dancing with his 6-year-old. Her work is simply a 12/10 on all levels. As a same-sex couple, we were a bit anxious about finding the right vendors, but Devin proved to be the perfect choice. We adore our engagement photos and are over the moon with how our wedding photos turned out. Devin is not only a supremely talented photographer, but an even better human being. We couldn't recommend her more highly!
