The Suisun Valley Inn is an intimate retreat at the historic 55-acre Monroe Ranch in the heart of Suisun Valley, just east of Napa. Built in 1902 by the renowned architect Bernard Maybeck in traditional Arts and Crafts style, it's designed to create a cozy, intimate feeling. The crowning glory of the club is the three-story Great Hall. With its vaulted ceiling, massive stone fireplace, and stained-glass windows featuring heraldic crests of the great universities of the world, it's reminiscent of many a European cathedral. Light from the floor-to-ceiling windows warms the redwood paneling and suffuses the Hall in a golden glow. Two charming smaller spaces are also available for functions. The Heyns and Seaborg rooms (named respectively after a chancellor and a distinguished University Nobel Laureate) both have French doors leading to a private outdoor area with a garden view. The Faculty Club has been serving its members and guests for over 100 years and will do everything possible to make your event successful and enjoyable.

The Club at Castlewood resides on the former estate of California's most beloved hostess, Phoebe Apperson Hearst. Her mansion, La Hacienda del Pozo de Verona was built in the 1890's, The mansion was designed by renowned architect Julia Morgan, the architect for the Hearst Castle at San Simeon. After her death in 1919, her son, William Randolph Hearst, maintained the property. In 1924, he sold it to a group of businessmen who turned it into a Country Club. Two Golf Courses were added, one on the hillside in 1926, and one in the valley in 1948. The Porte Cochere and entryway with its large doors offers an appealing and engaging sense of old-fashioned charm while the Spanish tiled grand lobby is reminiscent of a by-gone era.
