About this venue

Built in 1902 by the renowned architect Bernard Maybeck in traditional Arts and Crafts style, it's designed to create a cozy, intimate feeling. The crowning glory of the club is the three-story Great Hall. With its vaulted ceiling, massive stone fireplace, and stained-glass windows featuring heraldic crests of the great universities of the world, it's reminiscent of many a European cathedral. Light from the floor-to-ceiling windows warms the redwood paneling and suffuses the Hall in a golden glow. Two charming smaller spaces are also available for functions. The Heyns and Seaborg rooms (named respectively after a chancellor and a distinguished University Nobel Laureate) both have French doors leading to a private outdoor area with a garden view. The Faculty Club has been serving its members and guests for over 100 years and will do everything possible to make your event successful and enjoyable.

The Faculty Club was a pleasure to work with. They're very professional and have great insights into different setups and options. They worked with all our vendors and made sure all items we needed were provided. Setup and breakdown were also done in an efficient manner and very happy with our cocktail hour on the glade and dinner inside.

No, but parking is available for $15 per parking space. The parking lot also requires an attendant which is $90 for 3 hours. You can choose to host parking or have your guests pay as they arrive (parking spaces are not guaranteed without a reservation). Parking is reserved through the campus on a first come, first serve basis. The Bancroft Structure, located under the tennis courts, is the closest lot. For handicapped guests, there are marked spots behind the club.

Yes, we charge a corkage fee of $25 per bottle for wine and liquor.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Deposits are non-refundable. There is a 9-month cancellation notice required. Cancellations within the 9 months are subject to 50% of the food and beverage minimum which will be charged to the credit card obtained during the initial booking. Cancellations made after the same given deadlines will result in the appropriate charges being invoiced to their account for payment within 30 days

No, our venue is fully insured.

Your reservation includes five hours from start to finish. Any additional time will be billed at $200 per hour.
