An Unforgettable Experience at The Hawthorne Hotel We had the most wonderful experience hosting our rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, and farewell brunch at The Hawthorne Hotel, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice! From start to finish, every aspect of the service, food, and ambiance was absolutely perfect. The hotel’s vintage charm was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding weekend, and it provided the perfect setting for all of our events. The food was a highlight of our weekend. At the rehearsal dinner, we had the Chicken Milanese entrée, which was a huge hit with our guests. So many people mentioned how much they loved it, and the entire meal was delicious and beautifully presented. The service throughout all of our events was impeccable, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. One of the things we loved most about the Hawthorne Hotel was how perfectly it fit our aesthetic for the wedding weekend. The vintage character of the hotel gave everything a timeless, elegant feel, and it was the ideal backdrop for our celebrations, even though our wedding and reception were off-site. We absolutely adored the hotel’s library space, which hosted our farewell brunch. The cozy, intimate atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a relaxed and meaningful gathering with our closest family and friends. The space was beautifully decorated, and it truly set the tone for a lovely, laid-back morning after the big day. Our hotel suite was equally impressive. It was spacious, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind after a busy weekend. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both enjoyed a restful night’s sleep. It was a great retreat for us during such a busy time and offered everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A huge thank you to our amazing events coordinator, Beth Pasquarello. Beth was an absolute gem throughout the entire process. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, honest, and caring. We never felt out of the loop, and she was always there to offer advice and solutions. One great example of her attention to detail was when she helped us secure a microphone for the rehearsal dinner, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her professionalism and personal touch made the entire experience so much easier and stress-free. We had our wedding at Steeple Hall earlier this month and we have not stopped hearing the rave reviews about Nik and the team at Steeple hall. Our day went without a hitch and we could have not asked for a better venue and team than the ones at Steeple Hall. On top of everything the food was so delicious friends and family are planning on going back to have the food served because it was that good. We cannot thank Steeple hall enough for making our wedding a dream!

From the signing of the contract to the day of, everyone was open and honest with pricing and plans. Our coordinator Jessica was wonderful and able to handle everything. She kept us on our time table and it did not feel rushed or that she was being pushy. She helped make it wonderful. Her assistant new to the position but was quick to pick up things and help where was needed. I could go on, but in the end it just comes down to this, Everyone had a blast and enjoyed it. PS, the food was so good, I dream about it

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

I had my eye on The Grove at Briar Barn Inn since it was simply a blueprint on an Instagram post. From the start, I knew it was going to be where I would get married someday. There is just something so quintessentially charming about the post and beam restaurant and the quaint New England Inn. The entire experience working with The Grove was great. We picked December 8th for not only the idea of a winter wedding but also for the holiday decor and availability for our preferred vendors. They were flexible in putting together the details and stuck to all the outlined dates and deadlines. We were assigned our wedding coordinator, Jeannine, about six weeks out as they said, and we were able to have our wedding details meeting soon after. The payment portal was easy to use, and the planning pod was intuitive and a great spot to keep important details in order. Jeannine answered all my questions promptly, and in the week leading up to the wedding, she was available for us to drop off all the decor ahead of time and spent time reviewing our vision one last time. On the day of, she was present, available, and helpful. She was detailed and organized and never pushy. She let us have our day and was there to help transition to the different elements seamlessly, paying attention to all the details so we wouldn't have to. Our guests have had only positive things to say about the entire day from the incredible food and the overall atmosphere. The only critique I have of the entire experience is the check-in process at the Inn. We had a 20 room block and ended up with 29 of the 30 rooms booked by our guests. The Inn has a very strict 2pm early check-in for 50 fee or 3pm otherwise check-in. We had a Sunday wedding in December where we had a first look and formal portraits at 2pm before a 4:00 ceremony because of the early sunset. We weren't able to stay Saturday night due to another wedding buy-out. The Grove accommodated me by making the hospitality suite available for us to get ready in; however, the Inn did not accommodate the groom getting ready. We rented out the Silo/Library for 250 to try to have a space for the men to get ready, but they didn't set up the privacy screen and there were too many people milling around for him to get changed in the non-private space. After a lot of inquiry from our wedding coordinator, our officiant, and our makeup artist, they finally let him into the room at 1:45 for the additional 50, but at that point it was only enough time for him to drop his phone and wallet. He ended up changing in the single stall bathroom in the basement of the Inn, which is a nice bathroom of course, but we would have liked a little more flexibility for us to have 1 room with early check-in to give him a bit more privacy. Flipping one room early for the bride and groom doesn't seem like a lot to ask in the grand scheme of the day or even offering some alternatives - we likely would have paid for a full extra night even if we couldn't get into the room the night before just to have the spot, but they didn't give us any options to work with until 1:45 p.m. ahead of 2pm call time. My recommendation for future couples is to negotiate into the wedding contract for something ahead of time if you could potentially run into the same issue, especially if you're out of towners who don't have other options nearby.

We had a wonderful experience at Black Swan. All staff were friendly and helpful, and Donna is such a pleasure to work with. She handled our 2-day cultural wedding celebration with calm and professionalism, and had no issue with a number of things that were important to us, like bringing in a horse for a baraat and including Indian catering. We got compliments all weekend about how smoothly everything unfolded. BSCC also happens to be one of the slightly more affordable venues on the North Shore, but the views are stunning! I really can't recommend this place enough.

Both of them we just so kind. The whole staff at the Granite Rose is lovely. After the wedding, we received so many comments about how great and professional the staff was. Zorvino Vineyards was an amazing venue for our wedding! From the very beginning, their communication was top-notch - they were always responsive to our emails and texts, and made time to meet with us whenever we needed. They truly went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions were answered and that we felt taken care of throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and totally customizable to fit your vision. We loved how flexible they were in letting us personalize the space to make it our own. The only downside was that there wasn't a suite for the groom to get ready in, but the bride and bridesmaids had a lovely space to get ready. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. Zorvino Vineyards made our special day so easy and stress-free. We highly recommend booking them - you won't regret it!

Everything about this venue was incredible, from the picturesque mansion to the wonderful, supportive staff. From our very first interactions with the sales team (Helen) to our day-of staff (Casey & May), everyone was extremely professional, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. They were gracious in answering our questions, calming our nerves, and being an assuring force throughout it all. We are so grateful for the love and care they put into our special day to keep everything organized and on track. Fireside's food was phenomenal and all the late night snacks and desserts were a huge hit with our guests. There was also a nice flow throughout the night and our guests commented that they were grateful that they knew where to go at every point in the wedding. We had rain on our wedding day but we are pleased to say that the ceremony under the tent was still magical, and actually created a nice moody atmosphere and our photos came out amazing. The heaters kept the tent dry and comfortable all night. We hope someone else we know gets married at the Stevens Estate soon so that we can attend!

We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Willowdale. The facility is gorgeous, the staff is amazing and everything was perfect. And the food, the food was so good! Before the actual amazing day, we had a seamless planning process, we always had someone to help us with questions (both big and small) and always felt supported. They also helped us with planning & coordinating with vendors. On the day of, our coordinator, Jeannine, was an absolute hero! We feel so lucky to have gotten married at such a beautiful place!

Grill 28 is a very affordable venue with the luxury of the beautiful Pease Golf course. Grill 28 made it possible for us to have a bigger wedding we wanted. My husband got married there October 2023. Planning was very hands on. Not traditional wedding venue but still made a great effort in planning. We had an amazing experience planning up until the wedding. Food was great everyone enjoyed it. We were able to afford open bar for 3 hours and signature cocktails Our wedding day was rainy, at some points full out poring rain. I feel this threw a wrench in the day and to the staff. I would say the venue is not rain friendly . Pictures were hard as we couldn't take them on the golf course, We had to take them in the tent with them zipped not exactly what I pictured when I spent thousands on a photographer. We even took some pictures in the SIM room I fear that were worse look like a JCPenny backdrop. However before the rain we got to have our ceremony outside on the fairway and it was GORGEOUS. I will post some photos, the staff was very accommodating for the DJ , photographer, and videographer to get them shelter in case rain broke out. I sent pictures of how I wanted my tables and decor set up and they knocked the set up out the park it looked amazing We were promised to have a dedicated server to my husband and I to bring us drinks and hors d'oeuvres while we take all our pictures in-between ceremony, that never happened. In fact my husband and I didn't get any of our hors d'oeuvres and they told us they ran out and then supplemented with cheese and crackers. Last complaint is our card box with thousands of dollars was left in the tent after the wedding, my husband and I realized at 2am and had someone drive us to the venue to get the card box. We walked right into the tent and took it. I spoke with other friends and all their venue event mangers made sure the box was given to a family members or the couple before they left the wedding night or at least kept safe inside. We were really upset about this. I do believe the event manager we worked with is no longer at Grill 28. All in all, it is a beautiful venue at the right price if you get a good day. I'm sure its amazing and much smoother. Once we booked Grill 28 for our day I struggled to find reviews and pictures of the venue so I hope this help a future bride and the restaurant leaves my honesty

I had a wonderful wedding thanks to Patrick and his family. It unfortunately rained but we were able to move things around to accommodate, Patrick and his family were very helpful with setting things up. I recommend hiring a good tent company the one I used I wasn’t happy with. The bridal suite and barn was a great touch that helped a lot with the rain and getting ready. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a simple, rustic, organic, all natural wedding.

I was a floral designer providing centerpieces for a baby shower held there last fall (2023), in the Phillips Room. My experience as a vendor there was great. The venue was immaculate and modern inside, with the classic New England charm and vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. They helped me with load-in, and the setup people were friendly and efficient. The coordinator Linda was also friendly, professional and on top of all the many details for the event (food, drinks, balloons, florals, favors, etc.). The room was light and airy, with lots of windows and light. The neutral background would work for almost any color palette. It is a beautiful venue in a classic New England setting, and I highly recommend it!

We had the most wonderful wedding experience at Wentworth by the Sea and could not recommend this venue to other couples enough. Catherine Chapman and her staff were professional, communicative, and had our best interests in mind right at the start, from working out all of the last-minute details to staying in touch in the weeks following our wedding. They worked to ensure all of our needs were met – from food allergies to necessary photo breaks – and when we had questions or needed a last-minute change in our plans, they did everything they could to go above and beyond our expectations. The biggest takeaway we heard from our guests was how amazing the food and beverages were, and we couldn't agree more. At cocktail hour, the hors d'oeuvres were passed frequently, the appetizer stations were a hit, and the bar staff was excellent at keeping the lines moving. At the reception, there wasn't a clean plate in the entire ballroom. We also appreciated that the venue had great recommendations for vendors. From flowers to rentals and a band that kept everyone on their feet, we felt that we had the best team to support us and make our day look and feel exactly how we imagined. We could not have pictured a more perfect way to celebrate our love, and the staff at Wentworth by the Sea made us feel like one-in-a-million!

I couldn’t be more grateful to Marc, their staff and the entire Siragusa family for helping to create the most magical night of our lives. Marc was the best person I could ever hope to work with to create the wedding of my dreams. He was very responsive, professional, friendly and made the planning process a breeze! He coordinated with all of the vendors, made sure everyone understood the timeline and took care of all of the little details to ensure everything went smoothly. Him and his staff exceeded my expectations in creating the vision I had for our big day - it was absolutely stunning! My vision was a rustic & elegant style wedding - and they blew that out of the water, I received so many compliments on how beautifully everything was set up for our wedding! The staff were also extremely friendly and on the ball with everything, I am beyond impressed with the Westbrook Inn and their staff. The value that you get with the tent, bar, staff, chairs/tables, set up/break down, coordination and so much more is extremely rare to find around here. They recently hosted a micro wedding reception for my brother and also did a fantastic job. Needless to say, I will continue to use The Westbrook Inn for all our future special events - 10/10 would recommend!
