He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

The detail and hard work that was put into our ceremony and reception was really what put SFDJ above any other wedding DJ I have experienced. Joe did a phenomenal job with the transitions and kept people out on the dance floor. We also had their Photo Booth services and it was a hit with the guests. The picture quality was great and guests could get a copy sent to their phones immediately after. Another cool add-on they offer are their cold spark machines. If you're looking for an alternative to the sparkler exit, these have the same affect in wedding photos but less of the chaos of having to organize and manage all of your guests with sparklers. They were beautiful and definitely added a "wow factor" to the night. Overall, it truly was the best night of my life and I have Joe to thank for playing such a vital part to that. “We always ranked the music as the number one priority for our wedding, and we’re so glad we entrusted David Rothstein Band to bring our party to life. Planning a wedding during Covid had many challenges, including not being able to see the band live, but thankfully, David has so many live videos available where we can see the entertainment his band delivers day in and day out. Those videos, along with David’s passion for his work, made us confident to chose his team to make our day special. For our wedding, we had a classical duo during the ceremony, a pianist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and an incomparable 10 piece orchestra to dance the night away. From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion.
