When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We request that you RSVP by August 20, 2023 so we have enough time to finalize everything on our end before the big day!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please visit our "Registry" tab to see items that we are registered for - we don't have many items listed given that our apartment in Belgium is small and electronic items don't work the same way in Europe as they do in the U.S.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "guest" on it, then we welcome you to bring your significant other. Otherwise, we prefer to see just you on the wedding day!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We want you to celebrate with you and we want to make sure you have a night of fun as well! Therefore we ask that children do not attend the wedding so you can have a night off and celebrate with us!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to the venue by 4:00pm - the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please leave plenty of time for the drive to the venue - you can see more detailed notes on the travel time in the "Schedule" section of our website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes - you will be directed to the appropriate parking lot upon arrival for the ceremony. While there is parking on site, we do request that people carpool as much as possible so that we can ensure that everyone has access to parking for the ceremony/reception!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - the dress code for the ceremony and reception is cocktail attire.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a rehearsal dinner for the wedding party and immediate family. While we would love to see everyone at the rehearsal dinner, our dinner space is small and won't be able to accommodate everyone. There are so many amazing restaurants in the Charlottesville area - if you need recommendations, just let us know!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do not have a hotel reservation block for wedding guests but please check the "Travel & Accomodations" tab to see recommendations on hotels near the wedding venue, in the Charlottesville area, and Airbnbs that are close by as well!
