Even though we lived and worked 30 minutes apart from each other, we met in Singapore in August 2021 while advancing the Vice President's trip. We got to know each other during our two weeks in Singapore and stayed in touch when the trip ended, talking every day and meeting up with our friends. After a few months, we finally got together in November. And now - a year and a half later, here we are!

We left the United States on April 23, 2023 to move Jenn to Brussels, Belgium as she was starting a new job. After a long week of moving, getting settled, and starting the job, we explored Brussels over the weekend. On Saturday, we walked around the Parc du Cinquantenaire which was blooming with spring flowers. We stopped in front of the Cinquantenaire Arch to take a photo and that's when Brandon got down on one knee. It was a simple but beautiful proposal as neither of us likes being in the spotlight for long periods of time!
