Maid of Honor
Anna and Isabella first met playing together on an elementary school soccer team (with her twin sister Christina). Growing up in the same neighborhood, running through secret pathways between houses, and infinite sleepovers; they were all inseparable (Isabella always wished she was their triplet)! Now, Anna and Isabella desperately wish they lived in the same city, but have to make due with their many hour-long face-time calls, and visiting each other so they can watch Bridgerton all night long!
Best Man
Adam and Troy were random roommates freshman year of college. They couldn’t have been more different, and should have hated each other. Adam went to bed early and woke up early. Troy went to bed late, and woke up even later. Fortunately, their love of zombies and 2K, Michigan football, and No Thai was a true and deep love. They’ve been best friends ever since.
Bridesmaid
Christina (Anna’s twin sister) and Isabella also met playing soccer in elementary school! While Isabella discovered soccer wasn’t her forte, they continued playing field hockey together all the way through the end of high school. Fun fact: Christina went on a double date with Isabella and Troy, very early on, and somehow managed to cover Isabella’s dress in not only spaghetti sauce, but also chocolate ice cream - and somehow the dress survived! Forever the Mrs. to Isabella’s Mr. Frosty!
Groomsman
David is also Troy’s dad! They’ve always been close and shared their love of sports. From golfing, to their annual MLB opening-day father-son trip, to their bets for a new hat over fantasy football, the two of them always have a good time together.
Bridesmaid
Kayla and Isabella immediately bonded over how much they hated being in vet school, and have been BFFs ever since then. A perfect night? Grey’s Anatomy, China Star crab rangoons, and too many dogs to snuggle with.
Groomsman
Jake is one of Troy’s oldest friends. They met when Troy first moved to Raleigh, NC in 2006. Troy and Jake lived at the end of a cul-de-sac and spent their days in the woods building forts and trying to dig to china. Then, while only for a short time, they got to live in the same place again when Troy and Isabella moved to Raleigh.
Bridesmaid
Alex and Isabella have lived down the street from each other since they were 2 years old! Adventures big & small have always tied them together. They once lived in a car together for 15 days, hiking across 6 national parks, and only showered twice (maybe three times…)!
Groomsman
Nick and Troy met through Adam while at The University of Michigan and quickly became friends over their love of sports and video games. While they haven’t lived in the same place in over 7 years, their constant communication surrounding Michigan sports always brings them back to each other.
Bridesmaid
Julia and Isabella’s history is deeper than just being friends. Julia’s older brother was best friends with Isabella’s older brother, and her younger sister was best friends with Isabella’s younger step-sister. Julia was also besties with Troy before Isabella really even knew him! When Isabella and Troy first started dating, Julia was so excited and was the first person Isabella told that she loved Troy (before she even told him!)!
Groomsman
Wolfy is also the brother of the bride! As Isabella’s older brother, it was his duty to scare off any gross boys. Fortunately, Troy was able to convince Wolfy that he was a good guy and could handle the ‘Gaidis shenanigans’. Now, whenever they’re together, they like to spend their time ganging up on Isabella to make sure she has the best time possible ;).
Mother of the Bride
Julie and Isabella are best friends, mother-and-daughter, two peas in a pod. They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, but what if the apple landed inside the tree and just grew from there? What happens when you put two extroverted extroverts in the same room? Don’t worry, they’ll carry the conversation ;) - but watch out, you might walk away and realize they drained your battery!
Mother of the Groom
Growing up, Troy was always his mom’s little helper. Whether it was cooking dinner (and eating it!) or helping her pick out what to wear on a date night, he always wanted to hang out. They still love watching House Hunters and planning how they’d spend their lottery jackpot (even though they don’t play). Fortunately, through their love of true crime and terrible TLC shows, Isabella and Jill have become fast friends and love spending time together.
Father of the Bride
Tim was the best dad you could ask for as a little kid. From pretending to be Mark McGwire and signing the shoes of all the kids in the neighborhood and taking us all for rides on his motorcycle, to building the Bike Car and giving us towel rides, to playing ‘Gaidii’ and always reading with us at night, Isabella always had someone in her back pocket. “We must have blown a fuse!”
Step Mother of the Bride
Carolyn joined the family very early on in Isabella’s childhood, and she finally had someone who wanted to go shopping, get their nails done, and pamper themselves! She loved how happy Troy made Isabella from the very first time they met, and can’t wait to see them finally getting married!
Officiant
Charlie is also Troy’s younger brother! As the title goes, he was always the annoying younger sibling (so was Isabella!), but they’ve always had a great friendship rooted in love and plenty of sarcasm. From the very start, Charlie has always been a huge supporter of Isabella and Troy, so they've asked him to help them start the rest of their lives by officiating the wedding!
