You can RSVP on this very website - see the “RSVP” tab at the top of the screen!
Unfortunately there is a limit on the guests we can invite, therefore we cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. Unless your invitation card explicitly says “your name & a plus one”, then please do not bring an additional guest to the wedding. While we cannot have any additional guests attend the wedding, they are welcome to come and stay in Winter Park!
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be a “big kids”-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the little kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Yes! We are asking our guests to get dressed up with us! Formal, black-tie optional. Please NO jeans, sneakers, flip-flops, or hats. For gentlemen - jackets, ties, traditional suits, etc - tuxedos are not required For ladies - floor length dresses, formal midi dresses Please keep in mind, the ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors. There will be some mountain-top walking, so maybe rethink those stilettos!
We cannot wait to see you there, so please do not be late! In order to get to the ceremony, all guests will ride the scenic gondola up the mountain. From the top, there will be a short ride over to the ceremony and reception site. A shuttle bus will be provided to get down the mountain at the end of the night. For those who wish to leave earlier in the night, there will be transportation available throughout the night.
Please plan to arrive at the base-of/entrance to the Scenic Gondola with ample time before the ceremony starts. The gondola will start allowing guests up at 4:15 PM. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS if you are late. SO, we recommend getting in line/arriving at the gondola around 4pm!
We kindly ask that you put all phones and cameras away (and on silent) for an unplugged ceremony. We have a great photographer who will be there to document all of the best moments!
Yes, we are all here to celebrate! Please be responsible, and remember: the higher altitude will definitely make a difference!
Please inform us ASAP, and please disclose any additional information with your RSVP.
Yes! Please see the “Registry” tab at the top of the screen!
Please see the “Travel” tab above for more information!
If you are staying on-site in the Winter Park Resort (WPR) Village, everything is a short walking distance! If you are staying off-site and will have a car of your own, there is a parking garage in the Winter Park Resort Village that you can park in during the wedding. If you are staying off-site in the town of Winter Park, there is a free shuttle (“The Lift”) to the WPR Village that you can take. This will get you within walking distance to the gondola. https://www.theliftwp.com/route-selector-page
Please inform us ASAP of any accommodations you will need! We want you there, and will do everything we can to make it as comfortable as possible!
It’s summer in the mountains! Imagine a warm spring day. It will be warmer during the day (especially with the sun being very close), but will cool down for a crisp night! The average temperatures for Winter Park in August are highs in the low 80s/upper 70s, and lows in the lower 50s/upper 40s. We always recommend layers! Please be sure to check the weather before packing and dressing for the day - you know yourself best.
Please be prepared and drink plenty of water while in Colorado and at our wedding! The elevation is already high in Denver and even higher in the mountains - our ceremony and reception will be at over 11,000ft! Stay hydrated and take things slow (even if you are typically an avid exerciser). If you have further concerns, please talk with your primary care doctor - they may be able to prescribe medications or make other recommendations to help!
While we hope we don’t have to use them, there is no need to worry - EMS will be on-site for any concerns!
No, you goon!
