After some fun in the sun at the beach, Mike and I came back to the room to relax and watch the sunset. I kept telling him how beautiful the view was from our room and wanted to watch the sunset there. Little did I know he had something planned. I had no make up on, my hair was crazy curly beach hair, I had my Johnny Cash shirt on, my leggings, my Adidas slides and of course my fuzzy socks, basically I looked ridiculous lol! I had no idea he was going to propose, or I would have spruced up a bit! Mike was wearing his new Hawaii National Volcano hat (backwards of course-and my favorite look on him) and his new Kona brewing shirt. It was true Mike & Cait fashion! He was saying really sweet things as we were watching the sunset. When it had gone down, he said, "so do you want to get married"? I replied, "are you messing with me?" Lol! Then he got down on one knee and asked me the easiest question anyone has ever asked, with the most beautiful ring in the world! It was absolutely perfect. It was the simple, beautiful proposal that matched our personalities and relationship. We are so excited to marry each other and to celebrate the next chapter in our lives with you.

Hawaii has become a very special place for us, and so it made sense to start our journey to marriage where we got engaged.
