One of Andrew & Diana's favourite activities to do with visitors is to go punting on the river Cam. You can take a guided tour through the "Backs" of the colleges of the unviersity (some of which can only be seen on the river). Or, if you're feeling adventerous, you can rent your own punt and give it a go yourself! Scudamores is just one of the several punting companies in Cambridge but all offer a similar guided tour.
Why most tourists come to Cambridge - to see the colleges of the university. While not all of the colleges are open to the public, you can enter a select few to tour their grounds and impressive gardens.
Fitzbillies is a great stop for a coffee and a pastry. They're famous for their Chelsea Buns so make sure you pick one of those up when you're in town! There are a few locations around town, but our favourite is the one on King's Parade. Diana's go-to pastry is the blueberry cheesecake bun.
A great spot in central Cambridge if you're looking to have a glass of wine or a spritz and relax in the sun with a great view in front of King's College. Not sure what to get? The Wine Merchants experts will have the best recommendations for whatever kind of drink you're after!
Cute little market that has plenty of fruit and vegetable stands alongside knick knacks / souvenirs and other delicious food stands. Great spot to grab lunch!
This spot was Diana's go-to for brunch (mostly because it's down the street from where she lived). Although this location is slightly outside of the center (about 25 min walk), there is another smaller location in the city center. Their sourdough bread is not to be missed!
According to Andrew's dad, Mill Road is one of the most international roads in the UK. While this has not been confirmed, it is true that you can find a large number of different international cuisines and shops along this road!
