Am I allowed to bring a Plus One?

Answer

Due to budget limitations, we simply cannot afford for all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Due to budget limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests under 21 that are a part of our wedding party or the children of immediate family (our nieces and nephews) at our ceremony and reception. Invited guests are specifically named on the invitation.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 3 p.m. Cocktail hour and reception to directly follow. For all other timeline questions, please refer to the "Timeline" section.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, Giorgio's is a handicap-accessible venue. If you have any special needs or further concerns, please contact us.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

*PLEASE NOTE* There is no reliable taxi, Uber, or Lyft service in the area of our event. For the convenience of our guests, we will be providing shuttle service between Hotel Indigo - East End and Giorgio's. For more information about traveling on the North Fork of Long Island, please see the "How To Get There" section.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Giorgio's has ample parking and valet service available. We do encourage guests to make use of the shuttle service. For more information, please see the "How To Get There" section.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The cocktail hour and wedding reception will be indoors with access to the lovely outdoor deck and patio for your use. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the reception area and converted for the reception during cocktail hour.

Answer

The average weather in Baiting Hollow, NY in April is a High of 60 F and a Low of 41 F, with an average 8 days of rain in April.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes. For the convenience of our guests, a room block has been booked at Hotel Indigo in Riverhead, NY approximately a 10-minute drive from Giorgio's. For the discounted rate, be sure to book by March 6, 2024. Please see the "How to Get There" section for more information.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

For the convenience of our guests, we will be providing Shuttle service between Hotel Indigo - East End and Giorgio's. For more information, please see the "How To Get There" section.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Attire (suits, party dresses, or slacks). The Bride and Groom ARE the *drama* so please adorn yourself with bright colors, statement accessories, and bold embellishments!

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

As the Bride is immunocompromised, we kindly request that all guests are vaccinated and/or test negative for Covid before attending our event.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a duet course, Intermezzo, choice of dinner Entrée, Wedding Cake, cookies and pastries.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP. There is an entrée option that is completely Vegetarian/ Vegan.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the wedding reception and after party will have an open bar. If you are joining us for the welcome party, the bar is limited. Your first two (alcoholic) drinks are on us. However, if you would like more than two, please bring cash with you. As both Bride and Groom have worked in service industries, we do encourage guests to bring cash and tip for good service (only if it is financially accessible for you).

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

All candles cannot be taken as they are rentals. However, the Bride and Mother of the Bride have worked hard to DIY the rest of the centerpieces. We hope they will be taken home and cherished. However, we have a surprise game that will allow the winning guests the "pick of the litter" for the centerpiece items from their table.

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home through our Registry (see Registry section). A wedding card box will be at our reception. Both the bride and groom love to send and receive cards. We encourage guests to get creative with cards and sentiments - they will be treasured in a keepsake box.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The wedding reception will end at approximately 8:30 p.m. Directly following the reception, there will be a 2-hour After-Party where the fun will continue with a DJ, open bar, and late-night snacks. For all itinerary, event, and timeline questions, please refer to the "Timeline" section. This will be the most up-to-date resource.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both being held at the same venue. There will be no gap between events and guests will need only to walk to another event space.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Answer

The couple chose to have their wedding on the North Fork of Long Island as the Bride is from Greenport, NY. We highly encourage all guests explore points East of our venue. See the "Things to Do" section for our recommendations.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes. Please see the "Timeline" section of our website for the events we have planned for all of our guests. You can also view what wedding weekend events you have been invited to under the "RSVP" section.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be missed by both the Bride and Groom, but we understand! If you cannot make it to the wedding or wedding-related events, please RSVP “no” to all events that you have been invited to by March 7, 2024 so we may plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "yes", please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust any headcounts given to our vendors.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding? Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

The Bride and Groom kindly request an Unplugged Ceremony. We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony. After a Paparazzi Moment, where Guests will be allowed to take pictures once we reach the altar for a few seconds, our Officiant will ask everyone to please turn off all phones and cameras. Thank you for respecting our wishes! During the cocktail and reception, we strongly encourage guests to take photos. Please upload your photos and videos to GuestPix (QR Codes and links will be placed around the reception space), tag us in all social media posts, and use our wedding hashtag #LivinLaVidaLesce
