The Groom: Stephen Antonio Lesce is originally from Rahway, New Jersey. He graduated from Rahway High School in June 2006. He graduated with his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Pace University in 2010. In 2012, he graduated with certificates in Pastry and Baking Arts and Culinary Management. Steve is currently a Production Associate at a high-end furnishings studio. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with Tabby (and missing Mona), cooking, running D&D campaigns, and painting models. The Bride: Tabitha Ann Manwaring is originally from Greenport, Long Island, New York. She graduated with a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation with Honors from Greenport Public Schools in June 2006. She just graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Master of Business Administration from Pace University! Tabby is currently the Director of Operations of an exterior restoration firm. In her free time, she loves singing loudly and (mostly) off-key while cooking or baking with Stevie, spending time with her family, and finding an outlet for her creative side. Together they live in Brooklyn, NY, and look forward to everything the future holds for their family.
Once upon a time, and not unlike most modern-day fairytales, Steve swiped right on Tabby's Hinge profile. After weeks of texting and phone calls, he *finally* asked her out for coffee and a walk through Prospect Park. On November 21, 2020, they met at Connecticut Muffin where Stevie bought them both PSLs and off they ventured. Little did either of them know, they were walking into their future together. They strolled through the park, and eventually, not wanting the date to end, walked back to Tabby's neighborhood. Together they walked Mona (the fur-baby), so it was feasible to extend their date with drinks at Bar Bruno. After an 8-hour excursion, Stevie walked Tabby home, they parted ways, and thus their courtship began.
In Tabby's family, Easter is a large holiday only outdone by Christmas. So on April 17, 2022, they planned to spend the holiday with her family on Long Island. The morning began as it always had, with an Egg Hunt. Miss Penelope had found every last hidden egg and called Auntie Tabby to help open them and collect their treasures. On top of the heaping basket, there laid the largest egg (<--per Stevie, that she had ever seen). Upon cracking open the lilac shell and reaching into the violet grass she felt the ring box... ...turning around, there Stevie was on his knee with a question for her that would change both of their lives. She exclaimed "of course" and with that, they were engaged!
