Arrival of Guests

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Guests will arrive between 3:30 pm and 3:59 pm. Please park your vehicle in the parking lot, where you will be greeted by Searles Castle staff. Enjoy a very short walk up through the gatehouse to the courtyard; there is a shuttle for those with mobility issues that will transport guests into the castle courtyard. We ask that all guests arrive during the allotted time frame. Our ceremony will not be delayed for late arrivals.

Wedding Ceremony

4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Attire is black tie optional: Men: tuxes or suits with neckties or bow ties. Top hats are acceptable. Women: floor-length or cocktail dresses. Hats or fascinators are acceptable. Non-binary / Non-gender: wear whatever you feel most comfortable in that adheres to the same level of formality. We all like an excuse to get a little dressed up ... here's the perfect one!

Please note that we will not be having assigned seating sides. We would like you to sit on whichever side you desire. There will be reserved seats for family and members of the wedding party, but those are determined by their roles and not indictive of groom seating side.

Hors D'ouever / Cocktail Hour

4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Guests can mix and mingle outside in the courtyard or inside the castle. Tour the first floor, sign our guest book, and enjoy tasty hors d'ouevers!

Reception

5:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Guests will be instructed to make their way into the reception tent as Cocktail Hour winds down. First Dance: 5:40 pm Plated Dinner Service: 6:00 pm Cake Cutting: 7:00 pm Grand Exit: 9:25 pm in the castle courtyard The Night Concludes at 9:30 pm.
