We encourage everyone to stay at the hotel as it can accommodate everyone and you won't have to worry about driving once you arrive. We've blocked rooms for the wedding under our name. Travel Note
Directions
Winthrop is approximately 4 hours northeast of Seattle by car. If traveling from Seattle, we recommend you take the scenic North Cascades Highway (Hwy 20). This road is closed during the winter months, but will be open during the summer, offering the quickest route. The drive passes through North Cascades National Park, the stunning alpine peaks of the mountain range, and the turquoise waters of Lake Diablo and Ross Lake. If you have an extra 30-mins to spare on the ride home, and crave new scenery, we suggest taking US-97 along the Eastern edge of the Cascades, past Lake Chelan and on to US-2 through the Bavarian-styled village of Leavenworth on your way back through the mountains and on to Seattle. Pit stops and side-treks are highly encouraged ;-)

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport ("SEA")
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac) is the closest large airport to Winthrop, WA. We recommend flying into SeaTac, which is serviced by most major airlines and renting a car at the airport.
Rental Car
Avis and Budget (Discounts)
We arranged rental car discounts at Avis and Budget but note that all rental car companies are a short shuttle ride from the airport. The Avis/Budget discount is effective on rentals from Aug 4th to the 18th and ranges between 10%-30% off, depending on the duration of your rental.
