We met the new old fashioned way - online. We both had enough of not so great dates to know by the end of our first date there was something good happening. Although if you ask Tristan he'll tell you I was more into him than he was into me :/ At the end of the date Tristan asked me if I wanted to go out again. I quickly said, 'I do!" Poor guy didn't know at the time but date #2 would involve a trip to IKEA.Once I realized he could put together IKEA furniture without reading the directions, there was no turning back.

Tristan and I stayed at the incredible Pineapple Beach Club resort in Antigua in March 2019. After we finished enjoying the nightly entertainment we decided to walk to the gazebo overlooking the ocean by our room to finish our drinks. After a bit I started yawning and told Tristan it was time to head back to the room - Tristan remembers me whining about being tired but I don't know about that. He said ok lets go but you dropped something. I turned around to look and found him down on one knee and that's when he asked me to marry him. I was totally surprised and pretty sure I called him a dork. I then may have said, "oh my god, no" but it's important to know in my head I was saying, "oh my god, no way, is this actually happening?!" And then, clearly I said yes, of course yes. The rest of the trip was even more fantastic and we couldn't wait to get home to tell our friends and family the great news.
