8:30 pm
You arrive sometime after lunch and get settled 8.30pm - there’s a welcome barbeque it’s very relaxed so even if you’re jetlagged, you’ll have fun, we promise. Dress code is whatever you feel like – some people will be quite faaaancy some people will be wearing swimwear. Some will be wearing faaaaancy swimwear. All are acceptable.
6:30 pm
Not surprisingly given the bride and groom, we are planning a late start so the day is yours to spend as you wish; just be mindful that it will be very hot so maybe don’t go jogging during the day. Or hiking. Or almost anything that is not relaxing by the swimming pool and eating. Ideally by the swimming pool or in your nicely air conditioned room. We are mavericks! We think outside the box! We don’t follow tradition so we will have food and drinks before the ceremony to make sure our lovely guests are not bored and hungry during said ceremony.
8:00 pm
There will be music and sunsets and the hallmark of every romantic event: simultaneous translation. Bring your tissues.
8:30 pm
And in all honesty, if you’re worried about the agenda after this, we’ve failed in our hosting duties, which is another way of saying you’ll probably be drunk, but in any case. At 9:00 pm prepare yourself for a great dinner!
10:45 pm
To god knows when (but no later than 5am as that’s the limit of our noise licence) - party!!! (There will be food again sometime during the night. Giles insisted.)
