Banff National Park
Banff National Park offers a variety of options for guests! From gondola rides to the top of mountains (please note there are SEVERAL gondolas from different mountains/resorts to choose from) to an abundance of hiking trails - you will not be disappointment. Please note that if you are planning to hike, bear spray is recommended for this area. Also, there is an entrance fee into the park. Once in the park however, it is yours to explore!
Helicopter Rides
There are a few local companies that offer helicopter rides of the area. The mountains are beautiful and the water is crystal blue. An aerial view is sure to show off the greatness the area has to offer.
Downtown Canmore
Downtown Canmore is located a few blocks from the wedding venue and offers a variety of tourist attractions - local shops, galleries, and the frequent souvenir shop. We recommend taking a stroll to get a taste for the local culture. There are also a variety of great eateries in this area - including a few ice cream and sweets shops.
BLAKE Restaurant Brewhouse and Distillery
Located just a few blocks from the venue, the Blake boasts of a creative menu a robust local liquor and beer selection. Stop by for a meal or a drink - you will not be disappointed.
Murrieta's Mountain Bar & Grill
Great food at better prices cannot be found in Canmore! Murrieta's is a great place to stop by for lunch or dinner. The service is amazing and the food is even better. Located in downtown Canmore - we highly recommend stopping by during your trip.
Bridgette Bar Canmore
The cocktails will leave you wanting more and the food will never disappoint! A few blocks from the venue - this restaurant has it all! From creative cocktails and apps to delicious entrees, you cannot go wrong with your order. Looking for a happy hour location? They have special deals from 2-5 pm! We recommend making a reservation. This place is VERY popular and will draw a crowd.
