Turns out, Canadian hotels aren't big on the concept of room blocks. While we do not have a room block at a specific hotel option, we do have discount codes at a variety of housing options! This variety will allow you to select the room type that works best for you and your travel journey!
Yes and no. The ceremony will take place at the Cornerstone Ranch and the reception will follow at the Cornerstone Theater (roughly 0.5 miles away from the ranch).
We love children, big and small. However, this is an 18+ event! Take this opportunity to grab a babysitter, leave the kids at home, and enjoy a night out!
Guests will be expected to walk or drive from the ceremony to the receptions (0.5 miles). There is parking on site at both locations. Guests are welcome to drive to the ceremony and once the ceremony is complete, drive to their lodging and walk over to the reception. There is limited overnight parking at the reception location. Any vehicles left on site will need to be moved by 11 am the next morning.
Yes! As many of you know, the bride also has extensive food allergies. Please reach out and let us know if you have any specific concerns. We are happy to help.
Absolutely!
Nope! No family in Canada. Pierre and Jenie have lived in several cities (Boston, DC, Chicago) and their families live mostly on the East Coast. Weddings in the major cities that are near and dear to their hearts were far from their Chicago home. If you are going to travel, might as well go somewhere new! They started to expand their horizons and Banff, Canada was brought into the mix. Jenie grew up in the mountains and always dreamed of a mountain wedding. Pierre was all about anywhere near water. If you put the two together, you have beautiful Banff, Canada, with their venue in Canmore being just outside of Banff. Still not so sure of their destination? Google photo search "Banff, Canada Wedding" and tell us that doesn't change your mind!
