Graduate Roosevelt Island

Although the Graduate is the only hotel on Roosevelt Island, there are many lodging options available in Manhattan and Queens!

Out of Town Guests

If you are flying into LaGuardia or JFK, Roosevelt Island is just a cab/Lyft/or Uber away. LaGuardia is the closest airport to the island. If you are driving in for the weekend, parking at the the Graduate Hotel is $65/night, and parking at the Motorgate Parking Garage (.75 miles from the hotel, .4 miles from the wedding venue) is $24 for 24 hours. If you are driving in for the weekend and would like to learn about free or cheaper overnight parking options, please contact Irene (708-870-7016) or Thomas (914-299-1207).

Subway Changes

The F line that services Roosevelt Island is currently undergoing construction and the subway will only be serving Roosevelt Island with shuttle trains that run every twenty minutes during the week of our wedding. To get to the island by public transportation from Manhattan, you can take the tram from 59th Street and 2nd Avenue, or take the MTA's F Train shuttle train from the 63rd Street subway station in Manhattan. From Queens, you can take the F train shuttle train from the Queens Plaza subway station to Roosevelt Island. There will also be free Roosevelt Island "Red Bus" shuttles to Queens on weekday mornings from 7AM to 11AM and weekend shuttles to Manhattan from 3PM to 7PM. In addition, the Astoria Ferry Service provides an alternative mode of transportation to and from Roosevelt Island.
