Are kids invited?

We love your kids! But unfortunately, due to the limited capacity of the venue, we are not able to include children over the age of 2. Please let us know if you are in need of a babysitter - we can help with arrangements.

Can I bring a date, friend, or other family members?

Unfortunately, due to the limited capacity of the venue, only those named in the invitation may attend.

June 16. We ask that you please RSVP on our website or to Irene and Thomas directly.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is a free public shuttle bus that runs from the Graduate Hotel and other hubs on the island to a stop nearby the venue. If you would like to take the Red Bus shuttle to the venue, please meet our friend Lia (773-332-5335) outside of the front entrance of the Graduate at 3:10. If you would like to walk to the venue, please meet our friend Sarah (503-575-5564) in the lobby of the hotel next to the sculpture of the boy with the lightbulb at 3:10. After the ceremony, you can take the Red Bus from the Octagon apartment complex next to the Sanctuary (buses depart every 15 minutes) or you can walk along the west side of the island for nighttime city views. For those who want to continue celebrating after the reception, there will be an informal afterparty at Granny Annie’s Bar & Kitchen, located at 425 Main Street on the island, which is accessible by Red Bus or a 20 minute walk.
