Lodging & Travel

Hello Guests, we recommend you book your stay as soon as possible. With regards to travel, we recommend driving if you would like to take advantage of the whole weekend and enjoy a hike or visiting other sites on Friday & Sunday. We will be providing a bus leaving from Penn Station in Manhattan on Saturday at 10am and bringing guests to the hotels. Another bus will be picking guests up at these select locations at the Howard Johnson in Saugerties and the Catskill Mountain Lodge in Catskill at 10am on Sunday to go to the hike location. So, for those of you attending the hike, a bus will pick you up at 10am from hotels, take you to The Kaaterskill for breakfast and then drive to Kaaterskill Falls at 11:30, to then start the drive back to Penn Station, Manhattan at 2pm and arrive by ~4:30pm. We will be providing shuttle service to and from The Kaaterskill venue to your lodging destinations in Catskill and Saugerties. Let us know if we can help in any way with your lodging needs.

SHUTTLE TIMES: Howard Johnson by Wyndham- Shuttle #1: 1:30pm & Shuttle #2: 2:30 Catskill Mountain Lodge- Shuttle #1: 1:45pm & Shuttle #2: 2:45pm Red Ranch Motel- Shuttle: 3:00pm This Lodge offers proximity to the venue, spacious rooms, and a restaurant next door "Kindred Spirits Steakhouse & Pub" (open 11am-11pm on weekends). If you call mention Jessica & Morgan's wedding on September 14th to get a room with a balcony alongside other invitees or you can opt for the more private options of renting a cabin for a small group or for a couple. We are providing bus service from downtown Brooklyn to and from this location in Catskill, and also shuttle service to and from for the wedding.

If this looks like the hotel where you would like to stay, check out the website and book your room mentioning Amanda's (the Manager) 10% discount offered for guests. We are providing bus service from downtown Brooklyn to and from this location in Saugerties, and also shuttle service to and from for the wedding.

Red Ranch Motel (SHUTTLE TIME: 3:00pm)

This small motel is located in the same town as the venue and has the "Rip Van Winkle Brewing Company" (with a restaurant open 11am-10pm) next door. We were able to block 10 rooms all close to each other and you can simply reach out to Jodi & Michael to make your reservations specifically for our wedding dates. We are providing bus service from downtown Brooklyn to and from this location in Catskill, and also shuttle service to and from for the wedding. Shuttle Pickup starts at 1:30pm and ends at 3pm. Please check with specific hotel pick-up times

SHUTTLE TIMES: Howard Johnson by Wyndham- Shuttle #1: 1:30pm & Shuttle #2: 2:30 Catskill Mountain Lodge- Shuttle #1: 1:45pm & Shuttle #2: 2:45pm Red Ranch Motel- Shuttle: 3:00pm It takes approximately 16 minutes to get from the main hotel to the wedding venue (The Kaaterskill) and you can come and take a walk around the grounds starting at 2:15pm and we'll gather for the ceremony at 3:30pm. There will be water and tea available on the grounds prior to the ceremony. Shuttles will begin taking guests back to their lodging destinations at 11pm, leaving every one hour from The Kaaterskill.
