Walk the grounds prior to the ceremony

Hi Family & Friends, this is a lovely venue and if you decide to arrive around 2:15pm to take advantage of the views of the Catskill mountains and walk the grounds prior to the ceremony, be prepared to see some friendly farm animals and walk on grass. Here are few tips: 1) Since there are animals on the property, if you bring along vainilla waffers (boxes provided at the entrance) and shake the box all the animals will be crazy to meet you! Please remember to feed with an OPEN FLAT HAND only. You can take pictures with the animals, too! 2) Do Not forget to go exploring and walk our beautiful Trails towards the back, you'll never get lost, the Property is delimited by The Kaaterskill Creek.

Barn formal - bring as many shoes as you want so long as one is comfortable to walk in the grass (stilettos are not recommended, but block heels and wedges are OK). Also, bring a light jacket or shawl if you get chilly easily.
If you are driving up, please feel free to visit the surrounding area throughout the weekend and take advantage of the natural beauty. You are also welcome to visit the grounds and arrive as early as 2:15pm on Saturday. Upon arriving to The Kaaterskill, you will be directed to parking on the main road. If you are staying in Catskill or Saugerties, we suggest taking the shuttle to and from the ceremony/reception venue. SHUTTLE TIMES: 1:30 & 2:30 from the Howard Johnson by Wyndham 1:45 & 2:45 from Catskill Mountain Lodge 3:00 from Red Ranch Motel For those of you flying into NYC or opting to take a bus from NYC instead of driving, there will be a bus leaving from Penn Station (8th Ave. & 31st Street) in Manhattan Saturday morning at 10:00am to take you to select locations in Catskill and Saugerties.

For those taking the shuttle and bus back, the shuttle schedule is as follows: - Howard Johnson at 10am - Catskill Mountain Lodge at 10:15am - Red Ranch Motel at 10:20am We will be departing from The Kaaterskill (the wedding venue) at 11:30, so any guests looking to arrive on their own can plan on meeting us at the wedding venue at 10:30 and depart all together at 11:30 (for a 12pm eta at the Falls parking lot). Bus, will be departing around 1:30 for guests going back to Penn Station. We are enjoying a short hike to the famous Kaaterskill Falls on Sunday. Kaaterskill Falls is a two-stage waterfall on Spruce Creek in the eastern Catskill Mountains of New York, between the hamlets of Haines Falls and Palenville in Greene County. The walk should be about a quarter of a mile.
