Meet the gang!!!

Kathryn Lally

Matron of Honor

Kathryn has known Al since 1991, and they've been frenemies SISTAHHSS ever since. Their bond is nothing short of unique, shaped by their complete opposites in personality, style, and looks. As the oldest of the Metscher sib trio, Kathryn is your typical type-A, organized, rules-are-rules sibling, while Al is the wild middle child to a T. Kat’s timeless preppy style (currently on hiatus post 2 kids) contrasts with Al’s bold, ever-changing trendy looks (ugh, why does she always look so cool). Blue eyes vs. brown eyes. Blonde vs. brown hair. You get the picture. But their differences have only reinforced this 33-yr-long relationship. Growing up, they fought over everything from clothes to music, to who killed all the fish in the fish tank. However, once they overlapped as a senior and freshman at boarding school and played on sports teams together, they inevitably grew closer than ever. And then it was just a competition over who had the better college party experience and felt 22 the longest - IT WAS A TIE! Despite their never ending sisterly feuding from MA & NY respectively, Kat & Al share an unbreakable bond built on unconditional love, understanding, support, and an unhealthy amount of pop culture, early internet, and 90s/2000s references. Through life’s highs and lows, they’ve always had each other’s backs. Even though Al may drive Kathryn crazy at times, she loves her to the moon and back. Al - see you literally on the floor during SHOUT! Kyle - she’s all yours man

Brendan Meehan

Best Man

The first time Brendan saw Kyle was at youth basketball tryouts. Kyle was wearing his baby blue Sean John jumpsuit, launching up absolute air balls. Brendan spent the afternoon blasting basketballs into the bottom of the backboard on simple layups. If annual basketball tryouts told them anything, it was that they were both destined for a wrestling mat. Brendan and Kyle continued their friendship throughout middle school. They lived a short distance from one another, and often rode their bikes to each other’s houses. In high school, they shared the football field together, and were training partners in wrestling. Aside from sports, Kyle and Brendan shared another true passion that they were both wholeheartedly committed to: Scouring the school throughout the week to find out whose parents were going away for the weekend, and then cunningly persuading them to throw a house party. Throughout college, and afterwards when Kyle was living in various cities across the country, the two always kept in touch and picked up right where they left off whenever they were back together. Brendan was fortunate enough to have been there on both of the nights Kyle met Al for the “first” time. He could tell then that the two shared a genuine and rare compatibility, and he couldn’t be more impressed by the life they’ve built together. Although Brendan thought his days of flying to the West Coast to see Kyle were finally over, he is incredibly honored to be doing so again in September.

Paul Metscher

Officiant

Paul’s earliest memory of Al is her getting a Light Bright stuck up her nose. It never came out. Once Paul was born, Al quickly began to realize that Paul had come to supplant her, to steal their parents’ attention, to be the Spoiled Youngest Only Baby Boy. Al made it her mission to ensure Paul always knew his place in her version of the household. He has many, many scars to prove it. And then one day Paul got a lot bigger than Al and the wailing ended. They discovered they share the same sense of absurd and ridiculous humor. Some of you might think you can jump in to talk movie and TV quotes with Alyson and Paul; they promise that you cannot. They like different kinds of music, but can always identify a dOpE new track for the other. Visiting Al at Northeastern or in New York are some of Paul’s favorite memories of being her brother. She has always included him and it is so fulfilling for Paul to consider many of Al’s friends his own. Al is always up for new adventures, meeting new kinds of people, and spending quality time with the people she loves the most. Not for nothing, Paul encouraged Al to invite Kyle over to my mom’s house for the first time to hang out with him, his wife Erin, and Al (Venmo: @pmets44). In closing, Paul would like to advise everyone that as the Officiant of this wedding, he cannot see anything illegal or unlawful happening during the weekend. He will report you. What happens to you after that is not up to him. Thank you for your understanding.

Stephen Sousa

Groomsman

Stephen and Kyle first met back in the third grade when Kyle arrived at South River Elementary School. It may have surprised some how quickly these two clicked as Stephen was the shy, serious, third grader who’s whole life revolved around recess football, while Kyle was the charming class clown who’s singular mission was to have a good time, even as a third grader. They were elementary school pals, became middle school best friends and by high school the two of them were like brothers. Even when life took them different directions post high school, they always found time to connect either for a weekend back home, a trip out to see each other, or simply a call to check in. For Stephen, it’s not just about the memories they’ve made, but knowing no matter where life takes them (and he’s so happy to have Kyle in NYC now) he has a brother in Kyle.

Erin Ferraro

Bridesmaid

Erin became Alyson’s sister-in-law in August of 2024, but they've actually known each other since the summer of 2014. It didn’t take long for Erin to stop calling Alyson her “boyfriend’s sister” — it felt like a disservice to their growing friendship. Long before the official sister-in-law title, Erin had already learned so much from Alyson’s wisdom, kindness, and her unflappable ability to host (seriously, Erin’s bachelorette party in Alyson’s 2-bedroom Brooklyn apartment was an Olympic-level achievement). But it’s the little things — like knowing exactly how the other's voice would sound saying 'skuuuuuuunch' or 'bean boys’ and sharing unspoken glances at family gatherings — that Erin cherishes most. Erin’s favorite thing about Alyson is her graciousness. Alyson is so willing to bare her humanity, creating a safe space for exceptional people to be a part of her life. Thanks to this, Erin has had the opportunity to share joy and create friendships with some of Alyson’s tribe. This leads Erin to Kyle. From Chad’s groomsmen to friend, and now brother, Erin has a special place in her heart for Kyle. She appreciates his sibling-like banter, thoughtful engagement in their conversations, and, most importantly, his ability to care for one of her favorite people in the world, Alyson. Al and KJ, y’all are perfect for each other. Let’s add one more sib to the kids table!!

Joe Dixon

Groomsman

Joe and Kyle have known each other pretty much since birth, growing up together in Marshfield. Their dads were best friends, which naturally led to Joe and Kyle becoming best friends as well. Over the years, they’ve lived together on multiple occasions. In high school, when Kyle was moving, he spent some time living on the third floor of Joe’s parents’ house. Back then, their evenings often revolved around playing Call of Duty every night after football practice. After moving home from California, Kyle shared an apartment in Southie with Joe. Interestingly, Joe has also known Alyson since elementary school. He spent a lot of time with the McLeans growing up and, as a result, got to know the Metschers as well. Joe even went skiing at Bretton Woods with the McLeans, Alyson’s mom, and her brother, Paul. Fun facts about Joe and Kyle’s friendship: • Kyle once changed his Facebook name to “Kyle Dixon Bohin,” confusing pretty much everyone when he got to college. • Joe brought Kyle as his “date” to a wedding in Ireland. • The two have traveled together to Ireland twice and even ventured to Italy.

Heidi Carpenter

Bridesmaid

On the first day of third grade, Al (who had just moved to Duxbury) and Heidi had a important debate - Backstreet Boys vs *NSYNC - and have been best friends ever since. Many questionable decisions have been made in their 25 years together, but Al and Heidi have fiercely supported each other and made each other laugh through it all. Heidi has long admired Al’s totally authentic zest for life and her unsinkable loyalty to her people, and can’t wait to continue cheering on Al and Kyle (+ Carmie) as they build their life together. Stay tuned to see if Heidi gets as drunk at Al’s wedding as Al did at hers…👀.

Pat Lema

Groomsman

Pat Lema is the best Asset Management professional on the Eastern seaboard and is significantly stronger, has better pecs, has more hair and is better looking than Kyle. Pat has known Kyle since the second grade when Kyle wore light blue FUBU onesies to school every day. Given Kyle’s style and sense of rap culture, Pat waited until late middle school to truly befriend the upcoming Kyle “B’Rad” Bohin. Subsequently, after Pat’s neighbor beat Kyle up using Kyle’s own sweatshirt, Pat decided that Kyle could use a better friend to have his back. Pat’s fondest memories of Kyle are from high school and college. In high school, Pat would frequently sleep over at the Bohin residence to take part in activities with the GHG and play video games with Kyle’s brother, Mikey, and his friends. In class Kyle, Pat and many others would torment Ms. Wool daily, really strengthening the bond between the two. Pat and Kyle continued to stay close in college where they would frequently visit each other on weekends. On weekends at Umass Amherst, Kyle would wreak havoc charging patrons entry fees to parties at random houses & push Pat into shrubs and bushes. Kyle’s life of the party type spirit also gained Pat many life-long college friends in the process which Pat is forever grateful. Cheers Al and Kyle - Cannot wait to celebrate your special day!

Ally Sullivan

Bridesmaid

Ally and Alyson have known each other since elementary school, but that doesn’t mean they’ve always been friends. Despite having the same friends and even attending sleepovers together, they really kept each other at arms length. That changed when they both attended Northeastern University where they continued trying to avoid each other at all costs….but the universe had other plans. It didn’t take long for greatness to recognize greatness and the Smalls and Metch duo was born. 16 years, a secret language consisting mostly of random noises and countless “guys” (our signature drink not actual guys) later, we’re still going strong. Metch, you’re stuck with me for life now whether you like it or not, and I couldn’t be happier to officially welcome Kyle into our dysfunctional family. Love you both!

Kenny Anzalone

Groomsman

Kenny and Kyle first met in elementary school in the early 2000s, and they’ve been close friends ever since. Growing up, they shared countless adventures, many of which involved football, wrestling, and their shared knack for finding ways to make life more entertaining. From house parties to backyard mischief, Kenny and Kyle were always at the center of the action. Kyle and his brother Mikey also played a formative role in Kenny’s early music education, introducing him to Tupac and Biggie lyrics that were far too graphic for his age. Kenny would eagerly return home from sleepovers at the Bohin house, ready to share his “newfound wisdom” to the surprise (and occasional dismay) of his parents. Even as Kenny moved to New York and New Orleans, his bond with Kyle never wavered. Every time they reconnect, it’s as though no time has passed, a testament to the depth of their lifelong friendship. Through the years, Kenny has valued Kyle’s unwavering loyalty, his knack for creating unforgettable memories, and his rare ability to bring people together. It’s an honor for Kenny to stand by Kyle’s side and celebrate the next chapter of his life.

Kerry Green

Bridesmaid

Kerry met Alyson on the very first night of college in 2009. Although Kerry had a dorm room to herself, she chose to sleep on the floor of Alyson’s room every night, initiating an inseparable bond that Alyson might not have fully signed up for—but hopefully grew to love over time. It was in that dorm that they also met the other two Al’s of Northeastern (aka how Alyson became “Metch”), along with the rest of their lifelong girlfriends. The two later took their friendship to the next level by living together in various combinations—first in a Northeastern dorm room they actually paid to share, then in a Boston apartment (so gross that it should’ve been free), and eventually, a two-bedroom apartment in NYC shared with Kerry’s now-husband, Jacob, during COVID. Though they no longer share a space, they’re still just a few stops away on the infamous “L” train. Their friendship was born out of a shared “yes” attitude and a “work hard, play hard” mentality, and it has survived countless incredible adventures as a result. From weekends in Miami, Montauk, Berlin, Mallorca, and Ibiza to summer nights in Duxbury (shoutout to Karen’s Cantina!) and the everyday beautiful chaos of life in NYC. Now, they’re gearing up for the next chapter: officially welcoming Kyle to the crew as Alyson begins her journey as a Mrs.

Ty Wong

Groomsman

Ty is Kyle’s younger brother—the taller, better-looking sibling who calls Newton, MA, home. He works a blue-collar job, explores new foods, hits the slopes snowboarding, and occasionally indulges in some Casamigos fun. Growing up in Marshfield, Ty and Kyle shared a house, with Kyle playing the dual roles of older brother and occasional tormentor. Their parents’ split threw a curveball in their lives, but it didn’t stop them from creating epic memories—football games, movie nights, and plenty of shenanigans. As life took them on separate paths, their bond only grew stronger with age. When Kyle moved to Boston for school and work, the brothers started seeing each other more often, making unforgettable memories—including sneaking into bars with Ty’s fake ID (classic). Now, Kyle’s either zipping around NYC or catching a flight, but they stay in constant touch—texting, calling, and cracking jokes while navigating life’s curveballs. One of Ty’s all-time favorite memories? Summer 2023, when he visited Kyle and Al for their NYC open house. They got to hang out, laugh their heads off, and, of course, learn how true New Yorkers party—spoiler alert: it’s wild. Despite everything life has thrown at them, these two have built something rare—a bond that’s equal parts ridiculous, heartwarming, and unbreakable. Brothers like Ty and Kyle don’t come around every day, and they wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Dannette Tejeda-Arroyo

Bridesmaid

Dannette & Alyson met on the very first day of boarding school; bound together for life by whatever genius arranged their freshman roommate assignment. Their dynamic was nothing short of a real-life *West Side Story*—Dannette, from Dominican centric uptown NYC and Alyson being from the whitest, preppiest New England town that could ever exist. The culture shock didn't last long though. Their love for SpongeBob transcended time, space, and Alyson's ability to decipher anything that came out of Dannette's mouth. Soon enough their friendship grew with every new music share, with every belly laugh after lights out, and with every visit to eachothers homes. Alyson can actually recite Dannette's Spanish reggaeton playlists word for word and to this day Dannette's mom keeps Alyson's Senior photo in her wallet. It has been 20 years since that destined move-in day as high school freshmen and nothing has changed: SpongeBob & Patrick continue to be the best of sidekicks. Dannette is over the moon excited to be part of Alyson & Kyle's big day. There's no one else she'd trust with her high school sweetheart.

Westley McGeoghegan

Groomsman

Westley is a true renaissance man. He appreciates both a well-crafted cocktail and a light domestic beer. A titan of Wall Street, he narrowly missed being named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 (self-made). Westley grew up in Marshfield alongside Kyle Bohin and now resides in Summit, NJ, with his wife, Ann McGeoghegan, and their son, Miles McGeoghegan. He enjoys drinking, tennis, skiing, and everything associated with old money. Since 2017, Westley has read over 500 books, with Joseph Conrad being his favorite author. Westley and Kyle met in high school and have been causing trouble and sharing unforgettable laughs ever since. Publicly, they’ve always tested the limits of social acceptability. There are countless stories that can’t be written down, but rest assured, these two know how to break the law in the most hilarious ways. Westley cherishes Kyle's long-time friendship and considers Kyle Bohin not just a friend but a best friend. Westley has enjoyed getting to know Al and chatting about all things Kyle. He became especially close with Al when he shared a hotel room with her and Kyle at Kenny Anzalone’s wedding. Westley is thrilled about the upcoming wedding between Kyle and Al and is a big fan of their forthcoming nuptials.

Giana Ricci

Bridesmaid

Giana and Alyson met through their mutual friend (and fellow bridesmaid) Jamie in 2014. They became fast friends, romping around NYC in their early twenties, and soon became support systems to each other during the incredibly fun and endless grind that is being a young woman in NYC. Giana works at NYU as a Librarian and has lived in the city for over 11 years. Her and Al share a very similar sense of humor, can be counted on to both start and end a party, and love being creative and weird. Expect to hear them singing the Dracula Opera from Forgettjng Sarah Marshall by the end of the night 😜

Chad Mclean

Groomsman

I’ve known Kyle since middle school, though our friendship didn’t truly take off until high school. Back then, he had an odd hobby of collecting chrome caps off car tires—something I found amusing from a distance but steered clear of. By high school, we reconnected and quickly became gym partners. We were creative—never paying for memberships, but always finding ways to get in a good workout. Over time, our bond grew, fueled by shared adventures, drives, and Lil Wayne albums. As the years passed, I started bringing Kyle to the Metschers' 4th of July parties. It was during one of these gatherings that Kyle’s infatuation with Al began to reveal itself. He would ask me (constantly), “When are we going to see Al? She’s so hot, man.” Al is someone I’ve been lucky enough to know for my entire 32 years. Our families have done everything together, sharing cherished traditions, especially Thanksgiving, which we’ve celebrated together for 26 years straight. While we aren’t related by blood, I’ve always thought of Al as a sister. Years later, fate—and a little nudge from me—brought Kyle and Al back together on the Cape. Watching them that day, it was clear they had something special. As I reflect on their journey, I’m proud to have played a small part in their love story. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for two people who have found their perfect match in each other.

Jamesin Seidel

Bridesmaid

Jamie and Alyson’s story began freshman year of high school, living in the same dorm. Jamie was instantly drawn to Alyson’s effortlessly cool, unique style and magnetic energy. Even back then, from soccer practice to 7 am group breakfasts, Jamie knew Alyson was a one-of-one type person who she'd want forever in her life. College brought them both to Boston. Between endless T-rides and trying to figure out their purpose, Alyson’s amazing Northeastern crew welcomed Jamie, and their bond only grew stronger — helped along by inside jokes, vodka shots, and, of course, flip camera footage. Their early 20s were spent in New York City — where they pranced around Meatpacking and Lower East Side in the highest of heels and made the most of the city. One of Jamie’s favorite memories is spending an entire hungover day clearing all plans to watch Beyoncé’s surprise album. Through it all, Jamie admired Alyson — not just for her perfect eyelashes (truly angelic) but for her ability to make everyone feel like they belonged, comfortable in their own skin. Now in their 30s, they live continents apart — Jamie in London, Alyson in New York — but distance hasn’t changed their friendship. Thanks to endless group chat messages, #CastleCrew keeps them close. Jamie is so excited about all the bridesmaid duties and can only hope to deliver a Kristen Wiig-level performance to prove once and for all that #NoOneCares.
