It is best to have a car in Napa if possible - to drive in from the airport, and to get to/from wineries or other activities. Napa Valley is essentially one long strand of adjacent towns, so you may want to explore other areas north of Napa proper - like Yountville or Rutherford - versus just staying in Napa. *If you will not be renting a car, you will still have a fabulous time: We will provide a shuttle to the wedding venue from Napa, and central Napa is very walkable. You can even get to/from a couple of specific wineries via the Napa Valley Wine Train (purchase tickets in advance). Ride share services are also more limited in Napa Valley, especially later in the day, though there are a number of regional private or group car services: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g32766-Activities-c59-Napa_Napa_Valley_California.html
While we love your little ones, we want the adults to be able to 'wine'd down (couldn't help ourselves)...so this will be an adults-only wedding. If you are traveling with your kids, there are a couple of highly rated local babysitting services available: https://www.napavalleynanny.com/ https://www.grapevineplacementagency.com/services/hotel-guest-services/
Absolutely. There are ample outdoors activities in Napa! - Kids are also welcome on the Napa Wine Train. - Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo is 30-minutes drive from Napa. - Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield is 30-minutes drive from Napa. https://www.visitnapavalley.com/things-to-do/kid-friendly/
