We're Getting Married!

How We Met Maddie swiped right. Literally, on Hinge. Matt woke up the next morning assuming someone as beautiful as Maddie made a mistake and accidentally swiped the wrong way. Little did he know she would ask him on their first date - a walk around Sloans Lake (it was still 2020). From there they didn't see each other again for a month due to Christmas/NYE travel, but they talked every day. Living only a half-mile from each other helped keep the spark going when they got back in town, especially as Matt didn't own a car. (He travels for work.) Matt and Maddie continued to find more things in common than not, including their love for travel and dressing up in costumes any time they can. They were engaged in September 2022 (see the video above) and are VERY excited to share this special day with so many close friends! Why Napa?! Maddie always wanted to get married somewhere that meant a lot to both of them. Napa was one of the destinations she loved most when traveling with Matt, and wine has always been something Matt enjoyed collecting (and maybe consuming every once in a while). As both Maddie & Matt share a love of travel, it felt only fitting to have their wedding weekend be a travel adventure shared with their closest family & friends! November is also the peak of fall in Napa - so be prepared for golds, oranges, reds, and great fall weather (65-70 degrees)! We know you'll love it as much as we do.
