Wedding Party

Liz Hoopfer

Best Woo-man

"Do you want an oberon?" - Liz "Yep." -Marcus September 2010 and we've been friends ever since. Marcus and Liz met during Marcus's first year at the University of Michigan when Liz was a senior. Aside from being personality twins, they also look like twins. So much so that Marcus didn't get carded at a liquor store in Ann Arbor (Liz is two years older and they very much did not correct the clerk).Despite Liz still thinking Marcus's middle name is Eugene (it's Adam), the twin thing has worked several times. Marcus and Liz bounce ideas off one another all the time - from work to personal - and Marcus is so excited to have her stand with him in the wedding as his Best Woo-Man (pronounced WOO! man) and to finally have her on the West Coast!

Erin Schug

Grooms Woo-man

"My first and fiercest friend -- my sister." - Marcus Erin has always, for better or for worse, been in Marcus's life. In 2005 they moved to Traverse City and that allowed them to get much closer than they were before. They would frequently have "sick days" where they'd go on "Brother-Sister Dates" in town and "weren't seen by anybody that matters" (in Momica's words). Fiercest is both a blessing and a curse. If you know Marcus and Erin, you know they bicker about almost everything and are entirely too involved in one another's lives, but they wouldn't have it any other way. Marcus is so excited to have Erin stand up with him during his wedding, just like he did for hers.

Andres Oselio

Grooms Broman

Brandon and Andres are always getting into some form of shenanigans. Whether it be at the pool hall, the golf course, out on the town, or in the living room playing poker, these two are surrounded by laughs and beer-induced choices. Andres and Brandon thrive in the competitive environment of sports and games - always trying out do one-another, as brothers do. Staying up all night playing poker, endless euchre tournaments, and recently golfing in sub 40 degree weather over Thanksgiving. Brandon is so excited to have Andres stand with him for the wedding!

Thomas Oselio

Grooms Broman

Thomas and Brandon could be personality twins. Despite their evident brotherly outward appearance, Brandon and Thomas are the hipsters of the family. Always doing something new, going somewhere different, trying a new meal. Or in Thomas's case, a new tattoo, piercing, or hair color (of which Brandon has yet to venture). Brandon and Thomas always relate on music and their love of Halo and various video games. It's great having Thomas going to Minnesota so we can add another Big 10 team to the family, and another city to visit and explore (mostly their breweries). It's going to be so much fun having Thomas stand up in the wedding!

Kelsey Wagner

Officiant

Oh Kelsey... Kelsey and Brandon lived together in Downtown Ann Arbor. Everything was perfect, then Marcus moved in. Kelsey quickly turned into family and because the running joke that she was the "side piece" in their relationship as she would frequently be cuddled up on the couch next to one of them playing video games or watching tv. Years later, they all talk constantly and she still settles some of their dog related disputes (mostly about when Marcus can finally get a dog...which still isn't now). We couldn't decide which side Kelsey should stand on, so instead we asked her to marry us!
