Krakow Airport

While you can fly into another city (Katowice, or even Warsaw), and then take a train to Krakow, our recommendation is that you fly into Krakow. You can take a 20 minute taxi or train into the city from there. Check out flight options on www.kayak.com as well as www.skyscanner.net Travel between borders looks to be opening up to vaccinated people and for some citizenships, only a PCR test is required, but please keep an eye, and make sure any bookings are refundable just to be safe!

Transportation from the airport & around town

The simplest option to get to the town from the airport is to use the taxi rank. Go straight out to the curb and follow signs for Taxi, you'll see the drivers are in uniform and prices are listed and pre-agreed, it's 89 zloty (25 euros) to city center (the currency is roughly 4 zloty to 1 euro/dollar). If someone approaches you offering a taxi don't take it. There is also a cheaper but less frequent train, for the more adventurous folks! Download Uber and/or Bolt apps for cheap drives within the city (and back to the airport) for the rest of your trip; they just can't pick up at the airport, thus you'll need to use the taxi rank. Around town you'll be able to walk and/or tram, and we'll be shuttling you to and from the venue, so you don't need to worry about renting a car (and parking is a nightmare anyway). Simple, clean, affordable - this hotel is great value for your money in the city center. It's in a great location, close to the Main Square, and also to the railway station. The sooner you book your stay, the better as prices go up over time. Book directly from their website or booking.com per your dates and party size. Be sure you select 'Hotel Ibis Budget Stare Miasto' as there are more than one Ibis hotels in Krakow.

We will organize shuttles to pick up & drop off around these 2 hotels / Galeria Krakowska - the exact location is the bus kiss + ride in front of Glonojad restaurant; map https://goo.gl/maps/FDvW3r3ZdcJNtyYc9 It's about a 5 minute walk from Ibis/Puro hotel. This will be the same both to and from the wedding venue; plan to depart by 2:30pm and then there will be regular shuttles returning between 1-5am; they'll go as they fill up.
